@TheVerdeCuervo The got axed like....eh....5 years ago? I cant push the correct time but its been called the Silver Line for a while before being changed to the Health Line. Long live the 6. I remember the days of the 6 and 6A when you'd see a shitload of Flexibles run that route. 8800s, 9000s, 9100s, 9200s. You saw RTS's run the 6 too.....the famous 4100 and 4200 Slope Backs from 1979, the 8200s from 1982 and a few 8900s from 1989.
@6V92TA they were running a few of them from tower city to west 25th.actually 2117 is still in use at hayden ive seen it around a few times the past few weeks.
yea i heard from a buddy of mine. He snapped a quick photo and sent it to me. I swear dude, if you have a good camera, take as many photos of the "Ride the Euclid Corridore" buses as you can......im afraid that will be a paint scheme we will not see anymore in the next 6 months.
eh....almost. the 2100s and 9900s have the same engine/Transmission. Although the 2200 thru 2800s have the same Allison B400R, the all done use the ISC engine the 2001s come wit. Series 50s and Cummins ISMs is what the buses from 2200s to the 2800s have.
Hmm..call me clueless but..I thought NovaBus conolidated the manufacturing and operations to Eastern Canada. Thats where i thought the bigger market for the nova lf's are.
Dam NovaBus. I jus wish Flexible was still in production. We need our quality American built buses back! Gillig cant do it alone and NABI is simply garbage.

@daillpalla interesting. I wonder if RTA will repaint all of the confetti 2100s or jus leave'em there to root
6V92TA 4 months ago
@6V92TA bring back all the flixibles and repaint them to
daillpalla 4 months ago
@daillpalla shit i wish. That'd be lovely. RTA retired all of their flexibles except for a couple kept for historical purposes.

Cummins engines make buses sound rather smooth than tough. But this still sounds nice

now i know that 2001 also sound the same as 02s, 03s, and 04s! =D

Cleveland and Chicago Nova LFS have something in common; the same good sounding Cummins Engine, cool!

ny2dal35 3 years ago
they did...but this was Cleveland's last order in 2001. i think in 2003 NovaBus pulled out of the American bus industry, causing NABI to rise up.
6V92TA 3 years ago
But NovaBus's U.S. presence is now rising from the dead as they have established a new plant in Plattsburg, NY.

I know thats right, New Flyer-NABI-Gilligs are gettin on my nerves, they are so boring, but I do like the 1999 Neoplan LFs in PittsBurgh PAT.
When is the new Nova Plant suppose to complete? I bet GCRTA are going to get some more of them, hopelly some RTS from Millenium.
qwandiddy 3 years ago
i think Cleveland's done with the high floor buses. RTA might order some NovaBus LFS's. We;re basically done with the 350 bus order from NABI now.
6V92TA 3 years ago
in my city that's the same sound of the 2000nova LF too
engineman15 3 years ago
Sounds just like 2001 Nova LFs in Chicago Transit Authority. Got to love them. My favorite Low Floor bus.
qwandiddy 3 years ago
just 30 had ride the euclid corridor on them, the other 20 were split wit brooklyn, triskett and olmsted
