  • Hey, i've used some of your clips in a video, its on my page, called Showjumping;; the extreme :) if you'd like to look. :)

It should have uploaded by later on tonight :)

  • Thanks! I've loved watching your film cause it reminds me of my horse :)

    What breed is she?

    Looks pretty feisty :)

Sure i'll send the link, it'll be finished tomorrow :)

    x x

  • Any chance of being able to use some clips in a vid?

    You'll be credited :)

    X x

  • sure! make sure to comment with the link once you're finished, too!

  • I've heard of this horse somewhere before..and it's killing me trying to figure out where I've seen him.

Either way, that was a great trip-you ride really supportively without over managing which is a great skill to have. I'm starting to learn that less is more myself-took many a missed distance and knocked rail to realize I was interfering that much =)

  • thats amazing. your horse is beautiful :]

  • smooth round. =] your horse is beautiful.

  • i just love this..thanks for sharing

  • what height ru jumping

  • yes im curious too, it looks about 4 ft but I can't tell : )

  • it's Preliminary level Eventing -- max height is 3'7"

  • ah, you look very comfortable with this height! Do you jump higher? Very nice btw!

  • highest i've ever jumped is 5', but I've also competed at Intermediate, which is 3'9" and is 3'11" at championships

  • is it really different at those heights? (5ft) Or is the position and feeling essentially the same..

  • it really depends on the horse... some horses really only start having to snap their backs around 4'6, others are exactly the same as they would be at 3'6"

  • I used to ride at Champagne Run!

I even did a few of the CRHP trials.

    Well done round btw.

  • You're an excellent rider! Such a brave jumper. Eventers pretty much rock. I event beginner novice, nothing impressive but I school prelim.

  • ok thankyou very much the video will be up in about a week

  • Hey i am making a video on showjumping and was wondering if i could please use this video in it? Please reply, Thanks Belle :)

  • Whoa, for at the beginning of the vid I thought that it was a dressage test in a show jumping ring. *slaps forehead* Beautiful horse, great round. =)

  • It's great! :)

    I also have a thoroughbred :)

    agatadama .fbl. pl

    Cya :)

  • gotta love the triple! he is gorgeous, this must be a hunter round because they are not going very fast! haha! its still good though! pretty good rider, i think!

  • you guys are soo good! i have a random question [hehe]:: what song is that in the background?

    thxx

    --kj:)

  • thanks :)

the song is "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" by Cake

  • i luv the horsepark!!!

  • and tips on remembering a course?

  • yeah. when u go to look at your course play it back in your head. use your finger when u r looking at the course from the outside of the ring of something and point to where your first jump is and then use your finger to make a trail in your head of the course. trush me i may be young, but i think this works. let me know if u think so.

  • that was really good! lots of potential. the horse was getting quicker towards the ending, he must of been getting a bit anxious. but i know u can manage that with ur great skills

  • I love showing at the horse park! I was just there for my first event last weekend at Maydaze.

  • beautiful horse and you did a great job =]

  • Great job, those jumps are very big and you did very well! What breed is your horse and how old?

  • She's a 16-year-old Thoroughbred

  • that was awsum georgeous horse n very good rider

  • wow i wud love the chance to jump that big! :)

  • Oooo nice horse =D wot height where those jumps btw?? anyone know? =S hehe thnx x x

  • they were between 3'4" and 3'7"

  • kewl kewl thanx! x

  • nice! u r good at riding!

  • VERY nice!! i wish my horse would jump that good. i also wish i could ride as well as you 2!!! well done!

  • Oh man he wasn't gonna go NEAR that pink oxer! Your horse jumps beautifully and you're a very natural rider :)

  • that was a very nice round! you do an exellent job, and gorgeous horse!:)

  • very nice :D very like my horse Sox.

  • My mate just bought a TB that looks EXACTLY the same. She wants to compete at Burghley... nutter! Nice round xx

  • I love the pink jump!

  • you probably don't know the answer to this, but have you ever competed against someone named Kristy Black?

  • umm, it's always possible :) haha i've competed all along the east coast, mostly in PA, OH, MD, and VA

  • nice riding :] what song is this?

  • thanks : ) the song is "Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps" by Cake

  • Omg! your horse is so pretty!!

  • OMG. He reminds me of Asa, my Tb I sold last year. I miss that Thoroughbred so much... :(

  • No no, I know it's not a hunter ride, I myself do eventing. Mlteal you were right, my coaches and me call "a hunter ride" a ride wich is calm and looked like it was easy.

  • Good ride but someone made a comment about being a hunter round but its not is it? the jumps are to colorful, the rider is riding more like a jumper and this is a event and there is not hunters in eventing

  • haha thanks, and you're right, i was in the Show Jumping phase of an Event... i think the hunter ring would have my head :P but i think her point was more just that it was calm and relaxed - less like a jumper round, more like a chill hunter round. lol idk, just my interpretation

  • very effortless--- and nice cake song ;-)

  • That's what we call a "hunter ride". Not because you look like a hunter, but it's a calm, fluid and easy ride. You worked hard and it shows, you and your horse are making a very nice duo.

  • You and that horse go together very well. You kept him straight for most of the ride and most of the jumps looked effortless. My only suggestion, be careful about pinching with your knees over jumps! On a few jumps I could see inches of space appear between your horse's side and your leg. But overall, you looked great!

  • wow ur horse has a beautiful jump looks realy smooth! good ridin! good job :D

  • *Applaudes you* How long have you been riding?

  • mm gosh... i'v been riding since i was 3... im 17, just about 18, so that makes a little over 14 years i guess. wow. lol :P thanks

  • Thats a very cute horse and you are great on him!

  • You are really good. I love your horse. Keep jumping !

  • That was awesome! I love your horse, and the music is fun! You were good too!

  • hah, Thanks! :P

  • lol that was lovely, you make it look so easy, and we all know it's not! :D I /will/ be that good one day. :p

  • thanks : )

of course you can be that good, just put the time and hard work into it, and you can be better than what you ever dreamed of!

  • OMG that was really good. It looked much highter than 3'6 and you did it like it was 2'feet. It was so smooth, good job!!

  • : ) thank-you

  • Woo!! That was awsome! How high were the jumps?

  • thanks :D the max height was 3'6", i forget the max width, prolly 4' or so
