Whats going on is, on the island they have ruined the mathematics(idk soemthing smart) which is keeping time, which is probably what happened when desmund killed the hatch with that key. So anyways, he has time has started to go quicker and when that lady fired a payload it landed 30 minutes late. When supposably it arrived almost instantly in her time. So I think when Sayid and desmund land they are in a different time where desmund hasnt met these people.
