Even though Casey was accepted to the University of Wisconsin, Tom and Margo told him that he will NOT be going because after this whole thing with Gwen and her baby, he's proven to them that he's not ready to be on his own. They feared he'd make similiar mistakes in Wisconsin. Casey said that he's going to Wisconsin anyway, but they asked how's he going to pay tuition? He begged them to let him go to Wisconsin. They told him that they'll pay his college tuition ONLY if he attends Oakdale U.

Casey is excited that he's been accepted to the University of Wisconsin, but Tom suspects that Casey just wants to get out of town and Casey does. Casey tried the same stunt by asking his parents if he spend his senior year in Rome with some of the other students when Gwen was trying to get custody of her baby, but Tom and Margo wouldn't let him without a reason why. Casey couldn't give them a solid reason, he just said it was a cool thing, but he was just trying to escape his responsiblities.

I wouldn't call Casey a whore, but he was being selfish. When he was afraid that the test would reveal him as the father, he asked Will to step up and be the father, all because he didn't want a kid right now. Heh and like Will wanted one right now?! He said he'd make it up to him, like how can Casey make something like that up to Will? CUBS tickets? Will said,"I am NOT raising your kid." Casey threw a fit. Casey did soon regret about what happened to his son, though.

It was such a great and sad storyline because you felt for both, and I love Gwen's line about her never loving him more than her.

Yeah it is sad for Gwen. But Barbara shouldn't threaten Gwen to stay away from Johnny, Gwen did guard him with her life. Besides if there's anyone they should be mad at, it's Craig. Sure Paul kept it a secret, but it was because he feared what Craig might do if the secret came out.
