Wonderful song with such a prevalent message. One of the reasons why I wanted to escape from being just a baby mother. Even though that doesn't disqualify you from the same destiny. My parents did it the "right" way. Mom and dad married, didn't have me until two years down the line, brother was born 6 years after me, then my father decided to skip town on us when I was 10...became a dead beat father. It really is quite simple, some men have numerous children with different women & think they're good fathers because they pay child support! some dont even do that.

But there are also men who, for what ever reason are no longer with the mother of their child, yet want to be a good parent & share responsibility in raising a baby, but the mother makes it difficult or impossible for them to be involved purely for her own selfish reasons! it's not a man/woman thing, it's an "all about ME" thing!
