@spiritstorm09 ARE YOU KIDDING! I grew up on sister hazel lol. Most sentimental band ever. No one really knew about them but their songs are the most moving and catchy and just great music. People missed out on this gem of the 90's. The lyrics have so much meaning and the fact that they didnt make radio is stunning. His voice is nothing like what we hear around in popular culture and just...they be amazing :)

The impoverished and neglected would really love to be somebody else - But if they simply "change the state of mind theyre in", they may be able to find some comfort in a flower but thier lot in life does not change. Yes.. I do like this song. Ive been through more than my fair share of poop. It can be hard to "shine" when youve been beaten down into the dust. Ive danced in the rain, and Ive thanked the sun for shining. When you lose much, when you havent got much - you take great joy in the little things. Blue skies, thunderstorms, the ocean surf, the beauty of a fresh spring leaf, that vast dark starry sky... Id like to be somebody else, somebody who isnt wracked with worry about destitution.
