This reminds me of another excellent shooter named Phalanx. It also had nice music but not as nice as this game or Lords of Thunder.

Amazing stuff. Remember that this 1992 when the vast majority of games came on dinky cartridges and tended to be anywhere from 4 to 8 megabits. I remember all the excitement when the SNES version of Street Fighter 2 was going to be 16 megabits.

Gate of Thunder's music was revolutionary.
