  • Is that George Cukor with her around 2:56? I read that he made her work all day that day because she was sick on previous days.

  • Where are you Marilyn? We miss you....thanks for sharing.

  • Lovely photos,great montage...well done!

  • Love these pictures, she looks happy. And who is the guy with the fishing rod?...I want one, not the rod!

  • 20th was crazy to fire Marilyn Monroe who brought millions to that studio via Niagra,

Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How To Marry A Millionaire, Bus Stop, etc. Somethings Got To Give would have been a smash hit. Billy Wilder who fought with MM on Some Like It Hot also called her second only to Garbo in ability. Forever the greatest star

  • Marilyn had a career based solely on her looks and she knew it. Joan Crawford, Katherine Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman and Elizabeth Taylor had stunning beauty AND amazing talent as well..

  • @mctalks Marilyn was a fine actor...she did well.

  • @mctalks Thank you for that stunning newsbreak1

  • @mctalks she's an effective comedienne...her style of sexy dumb blonde was emulated by countless actresses but none came close to her. Plus she sings and dances well. Those actresses you mentioned didn't have her talents. So which talents are more amazing then? Acting which could be learned. or singing which is God-given?

  • @mctalks

Joan Crawford looked like a man and was bisexual, Katie Hepburn spoke like a man, thought like a man but was Woman. Ingrid Bergman could not make her mind up and Liz Taylor gave good face over that short, big tittied body. None of them combined, through life or especially the camera lens, did what Monroe did.

The only exception is Lauran Bacall.

    Stiglaa x

  • @stiglaa Lauren Bacall sounds like a man too, lol! Both Monroe and Taylor were fine actresses.

  • @mctalks marilyn was a great actress. and singer too. people always overlook that

  • @mctalks that's pretty ignorant to say considering today's standards.

  • @mctalks Marilyn was a work in progress. She had more than proved that she was a talented comedic actress. Although I do believe that her looks and dumb blonde image "at the time" limited the types of dramatic parts she could actually pulled of off believeably. I think if she had lived she could have gone on to bigger and better things and proved herself an adept dramatic actress as well.

  • @PatrickLHawkins Have you ever seen Bus Stop?

  • 1;17 3;50she look so lovely like a baby

  • Isn't it wierd that she is still alive & well? ;)

  • Weird! She has been death 29 years before I was even born and still I feel coneccted to her and even kind of miss her! She was many things, but not a joke! The mystery around her death pisses me of! Hope she is an butterfly like she wantes to and people try to look at her beyond just her pretty face! But see her heart and Norma Jeane also!

  • i wonder if she be this famous if she's still alive. i noticed that when celebrities get old, we, the media, just "respect" them for what they did in the past. celebrities that die young become legends, icons, etc

  • this is two days after she sang happy birthday to jfk?

  • @MrsEuniceMurray No thats was may 19th, Marilyns birthday is on june 1st.

  • @marilyn69monroe I believe this was before she sang for the Kennedy. Since the studio got furious at MM for claiming that she was unable to work yet went to sing 'Happy Birthday" for the Kennedy. Eventually they fired her. Don't know the exact date for Kennedy's birthday gala though.

    Anyhow, thanks for the tribute!

  • @AngelicLove21 It was may 19th so thats before she got fired by Fox, although she had permision to go ...

  • @AngelicLove21 This was after JFK's birthday, (may 19th, while MM was born on June 1st), the Fox didn't prepare anything for her birthday because they were furious at her escape to NY to sing Happy Birthday Mr President, so even if you see Dino kissing her, the cake and candles and the little celebration were offered to her by the team on the set, the technicians, her dresser, her make-up girl, etc. Then she reported sick one week after and the Fox fired her, but finally had to take her back...

  • Marilyn is alive -and Norma is who dead...

    FRIENDS FOREVER...

  • @HIDlarissaTERRY But I would like Norma back.

  • Who is the man with her in the car? 3:16

  • @ahambone71 Thats Wally Cox, her friend.

  • She was in agony this day...she knew she was about to be fired, and could not stop the behavior that led to it. When she saw these photos she said: "Look at my eyes, my eyes are dead."

  • Awesome! Thanks for posting! What a beautiful person.

  • She looks very happy... smile... She's gorgeous inside out.

  • Thank you so much....

  • Rest in Peace Marilyn...

  • Sleep well beautiful angel.

  • happy brithday marlilyn!!! I love you, see you in heaven sweetie

  • Happy Birthday Marilyn, there will never be another like you.In the words of Billy Wilder

"There will never be another like her, and Lord knows there have been plenty of imitators"

    Love you forever Marilyn xxx
