  • To those people who think it's fake. No1, the reason why that plane lost it's wing was because of extreme G-Force pressure, No.2 that plane was a full acrobatic high performance plane, he had used the full power of that plane in order to land, it was very difficult indeed to perform such a task, it requires high skill to perform such a stunt but it saved his life.

  • @Phantomhaivuru07 bro. its fake. end of.

  • lol hahaha the way he lands is so fake

  • for sure I thought it was real the first time I saw it, but there are some things about when he comes in to land that just doesnt make any sense if you thin physics.. ok, maybe the force of the propeller could have been enough to keep the plan at that angle, but feels like it should have gone much faster. and also, automaticly, the side with the remaining wing would want to be down, not up in the air like that.

  • It was NOT fake! My dad was there! It was at an air show and he saw it happen! It was also all over the news when it happened, you guys are stupid

  • I carefully examined this clip n if u look closely, there are phenomenal angelical beings guiding his aircraft. Look closley.

  • it is fake but very very good

  • this is so fake is there a fake button here?

  • If this happened, I bet only one Youtube video in the whole world would be the only information we have. This video is the only thing that shows this? I would have expected interviews or something... its not real.

  • hxxp://ww w.youtube.co m/watch?v=naSZBdJoEbM&feature=related

  • this is fake as fuck

  • THIS IS FAKE BECAUSE WHEN LOSING THE RIGHT WING THE LEFT WING WOULD BE THE ONLY WING TO CREAT LIFT CAUSEING IT TO SPIN UNCONTROLABLY AND CRASH AND THERE IS IS NO ALERION CONTROL WHAT SO EVER AVALIBLE TO THE PIOLT.

  • @FlightHawkB1 Took you awhile i bet...

  • Wow, brilliant....now, can I have those 2 minutes back please

  • if you lok it up on google you will find the real news footage

  • lol so fake i dont even have to look

  • "where's his right wing" fukin capper use Ur fat American head u Cunt

  • fake or not, this reminds me of the real event of an Israeli F-15 pilot who landed his aircraft with a wing missing. Of course, the F-15 has the thrust and advanced controls to make it possible.

  • FAKE!

  • ok i knw its fake but if iyt was real the pilot is all like this. god damit not again well going have to land early with no pay

  • fake and gay

  • lmfao i love how NONE of you except a few have any fucking clue what the fuck in the world they are talking about. (from both sides of the argument) stop trying to sound smart, you sound like morons. you can post a simple "LOL" or something that is fine. because this video is obviously a joke. saying "fake" is equally as stupid as saying this is real. 1. because it makes you sound like you are telling us something we don't already know and 2. about 130 other people have beaten you to it

  • oh shit i wonder what really happened to the poor guy whos plane actually lost the wing....

  • If you believe this one is real, I have a story to tell you about an invisible man in the sky that exists outside time, controls everything in the universe, and answers prayers!

  • Is fake... that is imposible ajajaja

  • they proved this is fake on destoryed in seconds...look, its animated where hes 10 foot from the ground

  • holy crap,fuck,damn,bitch,moly,ect

  • its fake checkout the behind the scenes footage

  • That was some FAKE shit

  • According to snopes.com, this is a fake video for a German clothing company named killathrill, which is printed on the airplanes side.

  • The pilot flew a maneuver called a "knife edge" (very common stunt in these type of aircraft). In a knife edge control is done with the rudder - which becomes the elevator and the elevator which becomes the rudder. The plane depends on the power of the engine (as high performance stunt planes do). the kick out at the ground was the single aileron of the wing that was left. The bounce to the ground is the landing gear which DO bounce like that on a hard hit. Pilot was skilled AND VERY Lucky!!!

  • @uccrossbows hey look that was a fake video because they made that vid on the computer that vid was fake

  • Wings don't just snap off like that. And if they did, it would hardly come out that clean. And at the end! The plane was feet from the ground and completely vertical! Would have been impossible to pull it up to a landing position!

  • I hope you dont think you are fooling anyone. One if the plane lost a wing the wing that was still on the plane would pruduce so much lift that the plane would almost instantly start to spin which yours didnt and at the end even if you added full power the plane would of stalled and crashed anyways not hover over the ground and planes cant roll that fast and bounce like that. Get a life and dont fool people!

  • shity this is so fake

  • If anyone here knows aeronautics than you know at 0:48 the plane would NOT bounce like that

  • @landmark425 I don't know if this video is fake or not but I do know that Aerodynamics has nothing to do with the bounce. I'm an Instructor pilot & teach aerobatics. The bounce comes from the landing gear struts-which are designed with a "spring" to them. Cessna 152, 172 & 182 all have similar strut designs. This allows the landing gear to absorb the shock of a hard landing with out snapping off. Cessna planes are cheaper & easier to fix than Piper's which have actual shock-absorber struts.

  • @es44ac2 leaf struts?

  • @Chris40679 ...YUP!

  • @es44ac2 Oh yeah 15 years old and getting pilots license

  • @Chris40679 Good for you! Have you Soloed yet?

  • @es44ac2 Not yet, I have to wait until im 16, but the ground schools stuff is fun.

  • @Chris40679 Oops! I was assuming you where in Gliders (because of your 15 yrs age) anyway Once you've soloed in powered flight (when you turn 16) you'll have a year yet to obtain your license. That can seem like a long time- but don't go too long between lessons or you'll have to re-learn all of it again- that's no big deal but that is also when it starts to get expensive!

    Good luck! :)

  • @es44ac2 Thanks!

  • It's absolutely not fake. I'm a 3d animator and I can spot a fake a mile away.

The plane stays in view until the guy gets out.

  • @InTheCity3D what for CAD in high school...you dont understand anything about the physics of aeronautics...

  • cute.

  • FAKE HAHAH

  • hahahahaahahahahahah wtf

  • Looked real up until the landing. too toy/cartoony looking.

  • This is so fake. You can see the crappy computer animations. And that's impossible to land one of those.

  • this is so horible that i just want to turn off my computer

  • HAHAHA whoever made this video, did a fabulous job at faking it :D

  • Obviously fake. Wow you are such a dumbass...

  • Comment removed

  • yer video relied heavily on CGI, as in " transformers"...pure unadulterated bullshit.

  • This has long been declared a fake. There is a Web site devoted to how it was done.

  • This has been proved fake by a TV show in the air the propeler is pointed but when it hits the floor its more round.

  • I am watching a show on this now. Flight experts say it is possible to land like that, its called knife edge or something, a f15 landed with one wing in the 80s. What shows you that this is fake is that from 0:50 on you can see the plane bounces, if it hit the floor like that it would break apart, it also looks like it stops in 15m or something stupid.

Conclusion: Possible but video definatley fake.

  • you have to be like REALLY naive to actually believe this.. please, i can't be any more fake. though it's well made. but... come on!! basic aerodinamics. one plane CAN'T flight with just one wing side. the closes to this was an F-15 that lost part of its wing and managed to land like in the entire lenght of a big runway.

  • so fuuny guy!

  • fake & gay

  • HAHA IT wus in discovery!! the ONE IN THE AIR HAS WHITE STRIPE the landing one dosnt! and its a model plane!

  • this defines fake!

  • totally fake!

  • That was funny dude "faker than your mom's orgasm", what a classic line I using that on some assholes' I know who talk shit to me all the time friggin hilarious!!!

  • you really want me to believe this?

  • ITS AN AD FOR KILLATHRILL gosh thats why it cuts off so soon.

  • its faker than your moms orgasm

  • hmmm.......i think its fake.....

  • I'm gonna say fake too,not impossible but the landing was too unrealistic.

The way it was flying then it sorta just bounced on the ground like a crappy PC game ...

  • as soon as the camera blurs and the plane lands, you can see that the plane has a diffrent paint job and the nose is diffrent

  • I almost believed it until the end when he landed....... fake.

  • O_Omg

  • At first I thought it was cgi....but then i found out about the rc...

  • @kirbyflys I bet you got an F too because it's supposed to be "AN f grade" not "a"

  • Yeah.... That it totally realistic,

  • @DennisBayazitov i hope that's carcasm

  • im afraid i have to say this is fake also, but i think its a simulator.pc game or sumit, when he opens the canopy he has no instuments on the dash.looks real up to when its about to land then i just looks silly.

  • omfg r u serious i thought it was all real and was frekn out! lol!

  • stupid

  • looks like CGI to me

  • fake Fake FAKE! ....a clever fake!

  • First it is a real plane, then it goes off the screen for a split second and changes to a remote controlled one, it lands, and then on the ground it goes almost off the screen, but there is a slight fade, and the real plane comes back.

  • That is soo fake

u wanna see a real one wing landing --> 3D RC plane landing with only one wing --> F-15 landing with one wing. Real story

    These are real !

  • I was there!!!! It is very true and very amazing!!!

  • B.S., It has been proven that this is two different planes, one real and one a miniature R/C.

  • @salamon1080 You were there huh? Might want to send snopes a message that you were there, because it's not real.

  • oooooooooo my god

    FAKE FAGOT

  • this is a fake from galileo

  • amazing..

  • amazing.....

  • is Not true

  • that was good untill the end because the animator had to work at an odd angle, other then that nice animation GeekyZeek =)

  • i bet that man screaming 'RUNNNNNNNNNNN' and NOOOOOOOOOOOO felt stupid haha

  • For a moment I believed you, BASTARDS!!! =D

  • hahaha it looked so real until the end.

  • OH EM GEEEEEE

    AWESOME POSSOMS

  • this is faked so much

  • this is so amazing!!! our history teacher showed this to us at school:)

  • It is fake. But a very well done fake. No expensive CGI. The plane that lost it's wing is probably radio controlled model but still quite large. The plane that taxi's to a stop is real. If you freeze at 10-11 secs and look at the length of the nose, and compare it to the plane that lands you can see the 2nd one is much shorter.

It is possible to land a stunt plane this way, hanging on the prop, but it wont be so smooth and probably wouldn't land on its wheels.

  • it stopped too fast! maybe if it didnt will seem more real!

  • Even worse than the terrible B grade fake video was the terribly terrible C grade acting ....0:47 'noooo.....amazing!!' lol

  • Its fake, its meant to be fake

no big deal its still an entertaining video

  • hahahahahahahaha, Bullshit!hahaha

  • This video is a fake by a german televison show (Galileo), which wanted to show, how fast rumors can spread. They made the landing look very fake-like on purpose, to create controversial comments (is it true or not), which make the video even more popular. So this is definitely fake!

  • Not ready for Hollywood, these kind of effects would put you in the straight to home video status. B movies.

  • it looks so fake-like on purpose to create controversial discussions and to provoke comments like yours... man you've been cheated on by a german television show ;)

  • Not too bad of a job of bringing video of an R/C plane and CGI together (for maybe a 12 year old). However this did NOT happen to a full size aircraft, and it is fully documented that it didn't.

  • could you please direct me to the documentation that says it didnt please?

  • Comment removed

  • that video was total bullshit!

  • it is. but its cool bullshit!

  • this is tru. i saw it on most amazing videos on tv and they even had in interview with the pilot.

  • Fake.

  • loooooooool I can't believe I see comments like "THATS ONE HELL OF A LANDING!!"

    COME ON people!!! Hellooooooooooooo?????

  • Unbelievable. But he did everything right with a lost wing and powerful enough engine per weight plane. He was forced to fly sideways to steady the line of the plane for the runway and then flip it at the moment of ground contact. You couldn't get a better execution than that.

  • are you serious? omg I love how your trying to sound all intelligent and knowledgeable about this vid. You are a bit slow arent you? This is completely fake!

  • Typically on this type of highly aerobatic small aircraft:

The fuel tank is in fuselage.

They don't use control cables for ailerons. They are controlled by torque tubes operating through a sliding universal joint at the wind join.

Ground shadow shows no right wing.

Wings on this type aircraft are removable, usually held on with one or two bolts and a couple of pins to take the wing pitching moment. The bolts are there to keep the wing from pulling out of the spar tube.

  • Center of gravity is usually set way aft on these aerobatic aircraft to give quick and high response, around 40% of wing chord. The cg would not move very much with the loss of a wing since it is already distributed fore and aft of the cg.

If a model was used, then it was an exact duplicate of the final full scale airplane.

  • Dude will you chill out? Any of us who have flown a plane can see this is fake. That's all that matters right now.

  • They use large control surfaces with large throws, thus the ability to do sustained straight and turn knife edge flight (where the wing has no lift at all) using fuselage lift alone.

So really if it is true, the way this video has shows, is the only vital way to execute such a landing on a highly aerobatic small aircraft.

  • omg you douche stop talking. Wow cool man you know about planes

but it dont matter you obviously dont know enough because you believed this bad looking vid! Did you see the stopping distance after it badly bounced as it hit the ground! that is not real sir it took like 10 metres! and look at how quickly the propeller stopped spinning when he shut the engine down. All that aside look at how fake it looks overall!

    this is not realllllllll!

    good day sir

  • Thats one hell of a landing!!!

  • Yes.... if it was true...

  • it seem true: in nomine patris e fillium spiritus sancti amen.

  • fake as hell

  • Notice how the plane dropped like a rock at 0:48.

I LOL'ed at the terrible physics.

  • fake, definately

  • Amazing how the pilot had time to land the plane like that and still look badly composited in at the end of the video >:P

  • Prop-powered stunt planes do have enough thrust to hover, but the join in this fake is very obvious.

  • excellent fake ! Good work.

  • lame, at least make it look kinda real.

  • 0:49 - fake

  • haha fake

  • Wow See that thing bounce when it landed so fake!

  • If this is true, this would have been an top news story.

    Very clever

  • Yea very very fake, ok cgi

  • fake but really nice job

  • There is a TV program in Brazil called FANTÁSTICO. The production investigated that. It was made by a company specialist in video with graphic ilusion.

  • Man this is so REAL! To the pilot, Can I have your autograph?

  • one of the most obviously fake videos ever, how can anyone with a hint of intelligence think it was real? rofl.

  • în a german tv show the showed how the made the fake so it IS A FAKE but its a very cool one^^

  • im partial blind and i can tell the end bit is CGI !

    jackass

  • it is fake cuz my dad works on planes and has seen this vid and it is not real, the air wont let the plane fly upwards, nor sidwards, also the plane would circle downwards uncontrolably.

  • *Theoretically* is should be possible if the plane have sufficient thrust to actually hover, however in praxis I seriously doubt anyone would be able to land this even then.

So far I think only one plane have managed to loose a whole wing and still land, and that was an Israeli F-15.

  • Comment removed

  • Watch when its in the air...... the "KILLA" on the remaining wing isn't there until the other wing drops off. Unless you can magically paint that in flight, its FAKE.

  • It actually is, if you pause at 0:12 then you can see it on the port wing.

  • It doesn't appear visible til the plane leaves drops out of sight and magically comes closer to the camera.

  • Fake!!!

  • I bet has had a few people going...

  • This video is from GALILEO(A GERMAN TV SHOW),it is really a fake!!!!!!!!

    hehehehe!!!

They show it last week in the TV,how they do it!!!!!

  • very fake, a wing wouldnt just fall off

  • yeah right it's real - and the pilot was bigfoot and the loch ness monster was the ground controller. It looks cool tho

  • total fake!

  • I believe it.... i was really amazing!!!

  • tht dnt look real but still cool !!

  • All facts about the Air Racer and the dissolution of the case you'll find here: viralmarketing[dot]de

  • hola

  • I just saw the show to, it's called galileo

  • It is a fake produced by german TV to see if people would believe it or not... I just saw the show

  • This was proved fake by using a r/c model and a real replica.

  • They didn't even do a good job. Even the paint scheme is different on the real plane and the R/C. You'd think they'd at least use the same stipping.

  • Fake obviously but cool to watch
