  • Years later I'm still hooked! :p

  • awesome dude

  • Nice vid mate! I have a 2101 too. What are thoes 2 racks above? They are very colourful. I just bought a power conditioner with some lights because I think the face of the 2101 is rather dull.

  • Satch your main influence? It sounds exactly like tone from Super Colossal album I love it!.

  • I was wondering if you can give the delay setting that you're using on this - time, repeats, delay unit? thx . . .

  • The delay is coming from the digitech GSP 2101 in the FX loop. It's set to 640 ms with a 12 percent feedback. The level is a little tricky and truthfully the compression of the video camera makes the delays more prominent than they are in the room. I usually use about a level of 30.

  • Great!

  • Super!

    Fucking cool man!

  • Damn man sounds EXACTLY like a tv show intro/outro music in a good way.

    5*

  • congrats from Recife (Brazil). Amazing tone and playing!!!

  • wow, beautiful sound Ken, in your next video can you record with Pc? We can apprecciat your beaty sound with all nuances!!!

    TANKS 4/5

  • My friend... you have your finger right on the 'soul button'. This was just a joy to listen to 5*

  • Ah bòmbolo, le mani attaccate alla tastiera te friggono? Vedo che le levi in continuazione...

  • @EnrBo COGLIONE, non capisci un cazzo...

  • 5 stars

  • That was freaking a awesome!!! are you using stainless steel frets?

  • I use stainless steel on most of my guitars...medium or jumbo. I think they feel great! Thanks for checking the video out.

  • that was bad ass!!! your friggen good!!,

are you using stainless steel frets and whats you opinion on them.

  • Man that is just kick ass tone and phrasing !!! Wow. Keep it up. Love that groove.

  • Can you tell me what effects you used... very nice man.

  • I love you

  • love your feel

  • soo nice

  • hi, im erick from peru, i have a digitech 2101 like you have, and it rocks, i have good sounds there, and maybe i would like to change with you some parameters and equalizations for the 2101,your playing is so good bro,you are a fan of mattias ia eklund? ,really good...

  • You're a pro!

  • WOW, Great Stuff!!!

Do you recommend to 2101?? i have an old gsp21, sounds nothing like that.

  • I'm only using it for EQ and delay. The main tone is really coming from the Triaxis, but it works well in that capacity.

  • This is just superb!!! Your tone... awesome!

  • awesome

  • dude you got this in an mp3?i want it!

  • hey you got a mp3 of this?

  • ok so maybe not so subtle lol but the little growls is what i meant. i love that shit

  • i've seen this before but just found it again and find even more genius in it within your funkadelic legato and the subtle whammy.

  • That was awesome, WOW!

  • FYI: If you ever release a CD, I'll buy it!

  • I've seen all your vids, you shred it up with style man. Awesome phrasing and technique, keep rocking.

  • YEAH! Now that's what i'm talkin about!!!!

  • wow! absolutely cool!

Is there a Fernandes sustainer envolved?

  • That's all natural sustain...just a little boost from the Fulldrive2 and a few spots with the Digitech XP100 whammy.

  • You probably have the best improv phrasing i've ever heard...

    Amazing man.

  • All I can say is... WOW!

  • Hey man, nice guitar playing. I see you have a paul gilbert style going on.

  • Nice!

  • Great sound and great playing, i know you heard this now so many times ;) Your sound inspired me also to get a TriAxis (and thats my fist expensive amp) but there is also a question: how did you switch the lighning effekt on? I can´t find it anywhere :(

  • The triaxis is really great for this type of compressed and focused lead sound. Unfortunately the lighting effect you are seeing there is something that shows up when you film under certain ambient lighting conditions. Try filming a tv or computer screen, you will see the same thing. Sorry to disappoint. Thanks for watching.

  • no problem, i didint bay it because of lighnig effekts ,) Thanks for verry fast answer!!!

  • What kind of scale are you running through on all of this anyways?

  • This is based in the D Dorian mode overall with bits of Mixolydian in there too. D E F (F#) G A B C D.

  • That was kickass! I want to know so much more about the already-intriguing Triaxis now!!

  • Any Michael Lee Firkins or Mattias Eklundh influence?

  • Both of those guys are great. Can't say that they were a conscious influence necessarily, but we are exploring similar territory.

  • lovin it!! incredible technique on the whammy bar u got there and some nice work with the pedal towards the end. beautiful tone too what equipment do you use?

  • WOW amazing man. I can realy feal the music. fucking nice job

  • absolutly beautiful man....can't stop watching it

  • Very good man!! Beautiful tone!!!

  • Wow, I have to say this is one of the most inspiring and touching improvs I have ever seen. I'm really impressed:)Love your sound! Well done!

  • Thank you very much. Felt inspired by what my friend did. Thanks again.

  • MORE

  • Great Improv Ethan.

Can i get the backing track?

    :)

  • Great job dude, pretty sweet set up you got going

  • great sound man! what is your equipment?

  • commented on ur newest video.. saw this one a long time ago, like it better, very musical. some nice chromatic and out of key runs. great track to jam over

  • Whew!! Soulful!

  • Great ;)

  • can't stop listening at ya...really inspiring

  • Thanks for checking it out.

  • Very nice!

sei pure sempre un panino :)

  • ahaha si è vero, è un panino ma in questo ed altri casi è il caso di dire viva il panino.ahahah

    your are great

  • nice sounding...great note choice

  • That's a Mesa Boogie Vertical Recto 2x12 cabinet...really love that cabinet. Using the Triaxis with the Simul 2:90 it is possible to play at a lower volume. I also have a level control on my effects processor which, when put in the effects loop, allows me to bring the volume down a bit. It has worked well for me.

  • Wow ! What Cab are you using ?

Is it possible to use the triaxis at home or the volume has to be very loud ?

  • Very good! incredible guitarist! the sound remembers to much Greg Howe!

  • what's up with the running lights on your tri? 8-O

  • Just the effect of the lighting...The Power Conditioner is doing it too... :)

  • Great playing! Very good sound, what equipment do you use? Looks like triaxis, tc. electronics G-force and Mesa boogies 2:90?

  • Thanks...Yeah, that's a Triaxis, a Simul 2:90 and a Digitech 2101 Artist in the rack. I also used a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 for the more sustained stuff, and a Digitech XP100 Whammy Pedal. Thanks for checking it out.
