Anybody ever wonder how the Order found out what was happening with Harry and co fighting the Death Eaters in the Department of Mysteries and rescued? It was Snape who informed them seeing as he was aware of what they were about to do. That's something else that should've been really mentioned in Snape's memories and why he was perhaps more of a protector to Harry than Dumbledore.

In the book, Bellatrix first defeated Tonks and Kingsley, and then killed Sirius, using stupify - she pushed him behind that black curtain. She was also the only death eater who managed to block stunning spell from Dumbledore.
