  • That night the snow shaped the land, and I walked home,

I laughed the whole way because I suppose if it hurts,

It's worth it, but now that ghost is me...

  • Seeing these guys live made my life.

  • I agree, the lyrics are perfect, perfection

  • their lyrics are words of god

  • this album was the best of 2011

  • The drumming on this album is ridiculously good and the sound is just crazy perfect. Love this in a car loud as fuck.

  • so much desperation and passion in his voice

  • Whos here because of Coheed?

  • @ericshabutie i am lol but im glad i heard of these guys

  • @ericshabutie only reason I've ever heard of these guys... I'll be seeing Coheed when they come to TN <3

  • @ericshabutie thats hilarious....yes, i am here because of Coheed. xD

  • @mkm006 im here because of Attack Attack LMAO? i cant even say that with a straight face!

  • David is such a good drummer! He has such a subtle way of being funky and still rockin hard! Very good approach!

  • I hate screamo with a passion. one of my least favorite types of music. But i can honestly say these guys blow me away. Everysong is feeled with a type of emotion that a lot of music lacks

  • @MrKingvanilla83 this isnt even screamo...

  • @ericshabutie well you know what i mean. its in the same area.

  • @MrKingvanilla83 nahh, big difference

  • There touring with my favorite band coheed and cambria in may. I..can ..not..wait!

  • @MrKingvanilla83 Woah... That's gonna be awesome!!

  • There touring with my favorite band coheed and cambria in may. I....can ..... not....wait!!!!!

  • The chords they use are fucking awesome.

  • Que buena cancion

  • I wish I could like this a thousand times....

  • I am very much impressed. Good stuff!

  • I was totally in the footage of them playing the Egyptian in DeKalb. Sweet show, I'm glad the footage got in the video. It was so odd seeing them on such a huge stage though.

  • this was uploaded on my B-day jeeeez

  • DUDE!! first time I listen to this band ever and I LOVE IT going to my faves for sure

  • 1:01 auto-tune? :o

  • @prettyponymonster

I heard no auto tune at all.

  • this band is so good. so underrated.

  • Wait, people are still making music like this? We didn't get enough of the whiny screaming 8 years ago?

  • @allrequiredfields Yes we are, no we didn't, and please refrain from using "we". You are not a part of this.

  • @MrFoxykitty You're not apart of "this" either; the whiny, sensitive screamo train left the station years ago.

  • @allrequiredfields Leave us alone. Tear.

  • @allrequiredfields But it would appear you are still looking up the videos?

  • @MrFoxykitty No, someone posted this shit on a friend's page. I don't think she liked it though. Thank god.

  • @allrequiredfields there's a difference between emotion and whining. you're clearly too stupid to differentiate the two.

  • @allrequiredfields At least these guys are D.I.Y rather than those sellout metalcore bands most people consider screamo music.

  • @allrequiredfields this genre never die there´s lot of people who still do this music

  • Supporting Touche Amore in March. Sweet.

  • So much musical value. So much better than most of what people consider "scream-o"

  • Anyone that says that this sucks, knows nothing about music. Go listen to Attack Attack

  • @algernoncadwallader3 lol u said it

  • @algernoncadwallader3 And what makes attack attack so bad? You might not like them, but that doesn't mean they aren't music.

  • @algernoncadwallader3 attack attack? thats hard :D

  • @algernoncadwallader3 I completely disagree. Just because someone doesn't like YOUR favorite band, doesn't mean they don't know anything about music. I think this band sucks. I've played guitar, bass and drums for 9 years. I'm also extremely knowledgeable in music theory. Yeah you're right I know nothing about music. I'm going to go break down and analyze Mozart now. Good day to you sir/madam.

  • @TheDwarvinColossus fuck off with your condescending know it all shit. u r a cunt

  • @earzmundo No thank you. And I wasn't being condescending at all. I was simply stating that general statements like "if you don't like *band name* then you know nothing about music" are ignorant statements. Formulate a proper sentence and I might respond =P (now i'm being condescending).

  • carabar!

  • i understand that post-hardcore bands like touche amore, defeater and this are better then most of the emo/scene bands but you should give some of them a chance.

  • Is that Dan Smith from Listener in the video a few times?

  • wait until you see them live, then your opinion will change. been listening for around a year now, i still get chills down my spine.

  • >> why is anything Black FAIL Brides related even in the suggestions, this is a "Wave" band theres a reason the exist and its to show people what post-hardcore is suppose to sound like not that showoff bull crap that neglects good drumming and bass play, and being different vocally than anyone else.

  • People who squabble about genres tend to not actually understand the art at all. Applicable to literature and just as easily applied to music. A critic who can only ramble about genre is a hack and has nothing of value to say. Remember that, kids. Shut the fuck up and enjoy it or don't, but if all you can do is ramble about genre; you're just spinning your wheels. Great song.

  • i dont think music is legally allowed to make your EARS BLEED, this is shit, just saying

  • wikipedias dead

  • Yes found myself in the crowd, middlewest fest

  • I appreciate music for what it is, and this is a decent toon, i just came across this band for the first time it and its the first song i've heard from them. made a good impression on me, and i listen to mostly underground hip hop. The closest to this type of music i listen to to this is old school Trophy Scars

  • this is all lil emo music

  • touche amore shirt at 0:31

  • I can not even explain it, but it feels so damn right to see and hear, that Hardcore/Punk-rock is still alive. I always thought that I was born into the wrong era, but bands like this give me hope. Rebirth of hardcore pride!;-) So come on, let's hear some comments about how wrong I am calling this hardcore.

  • Shit it's finished...oh look a repeat button

  • First time hearing these guys. I'm so impressed! Nothing better than music you can feel.

  • @CFis22 Yea i felt in my balls killing my sperm, shit sucks so hard its radioactive. Cant believe someone told me this link led to music.

  • @guthzilla oh.

  • Incredible album. So hard hitting and heartfelt. I cannot get enough of this song, this album, this band, this style of music... Yeah, it's heavy and depressing subject matter, but it's just so powerful and so well executed.

  • ANDREW W.K IS THE DRUMMER!?

  • The singer is awesome. But this guy has to be so poor on longer concerts...

  • I know there's things in this world that are shitty and will always be around.... BUT I WISH people with their musical criticism would leave this earth. If you don't like something, shut it. I'm sick of people labeling certain music as a certain genre. Thats why there's band names. The band's name identifies their own sound. Also their name is whatever they want it to be, so shut up and listen. The end.

  • @jimmyjimmyjamesjames

But if you don't have genre names, it'd be awfully hard for people to find similar artists to bands and music they like. Or to avoid certain genres like the plague. But people do take it a little far sometimes.

  • @jimmyjimmyjamesjames Some people just love music and everything that goes along with it, it's a passion. So putting genres is nothing bad at all

  • shhhhhhhhhhhh... enjoy the song :)

  • Oh my fucking god! Best thing I've heard in a long time!

  • Love this band but the singer strikes as monotonous sometimes. His voice seems uniform throughout the whole vid.

  • dumbest. band. name. ever.

  • @DetroitPunkCity *best

  • @ogh35d1 i'm all ears as to why it's the best band name. I have absolutely no idea wth Pianos Become the Teeth means. Do you?

  • @DetroitPunkCity If you have a basic knowledge of pianos, you'd know. The "keys" of a piano (the white and black bars) are referred to as the "teeth" of the piano, and in media they reference that fact by putting piano keys into the mouths of characters on television shows (you can see that in Tom & Jerry). It's a clever name. The name of the band doesn't matter, it's the music they produce that's important. PBTT is fantastic at what they do.

  • @joshzirkle they're saying pianos not piano keys.

  • @DetroitPunkCity Don't you think it'd sound stupid to call themselves, "Piano Keys Become the Teeth?" That is way too long of a band name, and it infers the same thing since pianos DO have keys.

  • @constantdrummr go suck your mums wrinkled meatflaps and just enjoy a fucking sick band. or would you like me to "educate" you on how to do that?

  • What a shitty crowd!

  • love it

  • They came to michigan last week an i missed it... FUCKKK

  • @iseecolin I feel your pain, man. I missed them too, it killed me.

  • For Christmas, these guys should unsplit, and come caroling at my house!!!!

  • @grantithan they split???

  • @speedmans24 nooo their on tour righ now... haha

  • @speedmans24 Yeah I think so from what I hear.

  • @grantithan noope saw them a month ago with touche amore, talked about tour plans, i dont see an end anytime soon

  • the singers voice is way too sick, so much desperation and emotion

  • you guys are fucking epic! please come to malaysia!

  • Who the fuck cares about history and where it derived from. I believe we can all agree that this band is awesome, leave it at that. Everyone stop babbling on about irrelevant shit and enjoy this tune.

  • guys guys this is post black melodic ethiopean trance-core

  • pure!

  • raw emotion

  • PBTT, touche amoré and la dispute are going to be the bands that make the punk rise up in the new generations

  • hahahhahahahahahahahaah at that guy @constantdrummr you truely sound like a complete dumbass

  • stop arguing. this is music. just enjoy it.

  • @constantdrummer

What even made you say that? What possessed you to "musically educate" us? Why should anyone even give a fuck as to whether this is a new or old sound? Change your name to constantdouchebag, please and go pretend to know what your talking about somewhere else. Dick.

  • CONSTANTDRUMMER no one wants to hear your fucking lecture on genres and sub genres. We have wikipedia for that shit. don't bring up "music knowledge" because I will take you back to the 1400's and make you look like that "noob" you are referring to as the rest of us. IDIOT.

  • @exileoutonmain Wow! I really am pissing all you dumb scene kids off, makes me happy as a matter of fact, no ecstatic. Keep it coming hipsters...

  • @constantdrummr :D haha scene kids lol this a pbtt video not a attack attack video you dont know what ur talking about man go troll somewhere else please :)

  • @exileoutonmain I find it very important that people know the correct genres of the music they listen to so that they don't look stupid and ignorant

  • I agree with the everyone that has said TO SHUT THE FUCK UP AND ENJOY THE MUSIC AND THIS AMAZING BAND. Ive met them and they have put nothing else but honesty and passion in their music. Whether or not it's "NEW." fuck man they are called influences. My fellow CONSTANTDRUMMR, your consistency (no pun intended) of comparison is terrible. As cities burn and at the drive in!?! they are ALL completely different.

  • Stop arguing on the internet and just enjoy some good music.

  • @constantdrummer

Shut up dude. Screamo was around before 2000. And while you may be right in SOME regards, like orchid is screamo and beyond different than PBTT, there are bands, which since you seem to know everything, that are screamo and similar to PBTT in alot of ways. Funeral diner, Reka, Saetia, and especially City of Caterpillar.

  • @ColinSizemore spot on. definitely feel like pbtt started listening to some funeral diner/ city of caterpillar when they made this album

  • Genres? Screw 'em and listen to the music for what it is... AMAZING. Embrace the wave; it's crashing hard.

...And that is an awful crowd... They don't deserve to see such an emotionally driven performance if they aren't even going to enjoy it- I know I would.

  • Wow, you really are a bunch of tools when it comes to this aren't you? First of all, this is post hardcore and "screamo" was more early 2000. Screamo, for the most part is dead, if you listen to early screamo, this sounds nothing like it except for the screaming of course. Before you try to sound intelligent about your music knowledge, maybe do some research. Just a suggestion. You probably like dub step too.

  • @constantdrummr bahahahahaha you should do your own homework because you are the one that sounds like the tool. screamo dead? haha. post hardcore? more post rock than hardcore so ya.

  • @constantdrummr

Haha i must be the only person who thinks you're spot on mate.

"hardcore" fans get so butthurt and self righteous over the tiniest things.

  • @constantdrummr

Screamo was more early-mid 1990s. Just sayin.

  • @constantdrummr actually "real screamo" or "skramz" was in the 90's, such as orchid, pg. 99, saetia and such. post hard core was early 90's with bands like fugazi, and before that rites of spring (some claim to be the first emo band). I would call this "screamo/skramz" revival, for it has post rock influence but an over all sound of the bands mention above in the screamo category. Maybe you could do a little research.

  • As Cities Burn didn't play the same type of music as Pianos Become the Teeth. As far as subgenres go, I believe ACB was a post hardcore band while PBTT exhibits a brand of screamo or skramz.

  • Okay, this band is good, but this is nothing new. This has been done for years. You guys need to be educated musically obviously so allow me to do so. As Cities Burn circa 2004 were playing this kind of music and additionally, have any of you noobs ever heard of At the Drive In? Obviously not. I will say, I like this band, but this is nothing new. Its been done over and over and over...just saying.

  • @constantdrummr i've heard At The Drive In hurhur

  • @meeveymisericordiam So proud.

  • @constantdrummr All music is derived, so who cares.

  • @constantdrummr led zeppelin, pink Floyd, rolling stones, the tragically hip. THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME BECAUSE THERE THE SAME GENRE!! BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY SUCK! there's a thing called genres you know its a type of music, with similar music and sounds in it. and just because one band sounds similar to another doesn't mean that they both suck so you can go be a dick some where else.

  • @constantdrummr hahahahahaaha prick.

  • i reviewed the album and it is one of the best ever. it is what screamo and good music and god meant to be...this new album is heaven

  • best album yet

    ever

  • Turned into my favourite band after Old Pride. This new album looks set to be fucking magic.

  • 3:00 Brace for epic.

God I can't wait for this album!

  • Maybe….Maybe you saw your mother, maybe she’s smiling, she hears your catching laughter, she’s missed your charm, we never made it to Cooperstown but I’ve still got that glove under my bed, Maybe I’ll see you, we could shoot the shit, finally have a beer, “have a catch,”but for now its catch my tears, its catch my breath, I can just hear you say “come on bud, get out of that funk, it’s time to move on,” it’s funny how you still apply, you still know me, I’ll try to take your tools and make...

  • ...something worth while, try to make ya proud, I’ve learned nothing is spotless anymore, but I’ll let you resonate…

maybe your Heaven is that Norman Rockwell scene where you and your friends are singing that Gordon Lightfoot song, “If you could only read my mind,” well if you could only read my mind, well that ending, it was just too hard to take, is it better than Clapton? Did you see your fathers eyes? I know it’s wishful thinking hoping this won’t always kill me, but If you saw yours,...

  • then I’ll see mine, you finally stretched your feet and ghosted away from me, you had to fade away, you had to leave I’m pleading for one more time with what I know now, I’m begging for the same flake to fall twice for the first time, I’m begging for what wasn’t said. That night the snow shaped the land, and I walked home, I laughed the whole way because I suppose if it hurts, its worth it, but now that ghost is me.

  • @THEPOOUUNCE ....something worth while,

Try to make you proud, I've learned nothing is spotless anymore,

    But I'll let you resonate.

    I'll let you resonate.

    I'll let you resonate.

Maybe your Heaven is that Norman Rockwell scene

Where you and your friends are singing that Gordon Lightfoot song,

If you could only read my mind, well if you could only read my mind,

    (Read my mind)

  • @THEPOOUUNCE Well that ending, it was just too hard to take,

Is it better than Clapton? Did you see your fathers eyes?

I know it's wishful thinking, hoping this will always kill me,

But If you saw yours, then I'll see mine,

You finally stretched your feet and ghosted away from me,

You had to fade away, you had to leave

  • @THEPOOUUNCE I'm pleading for one more time with what I know now,

I'm begging for the same flake to fall twice for the first time,

I'm begging for what wasn't said.

That night the snow shaped the land, and I walked on,

I laughed the whole way because I suppose if it hurts,

It's worth it, but now that ghost is me.

    I got your back, man.

  • when does this album come out?!?!?!

  • @tylerarriola november 1st

  • @thatkleiner3 that's a good point. To each their own, right? The beauty of choice and preference :-) I'm sure I love the vocals of someone whom you probably wouldn't like as well.

  • Great musicians, great sound, and awesome lyrics, just awful vocals...singer still needs to find his sound.

  • @tsukael i don't think so. i like the voice the most. it makes the band even more unique. great sound and awesome lyrics. yep :)

  • best band in Post Hardcore/Screamo right now. Old Pride was a hell of a record and with the two songs released from this record, it's already shaping to be one of the best post hardcore records of the past few years.

  • cant wait for this album.
