What is the top 3 complaints that you receive on the P11 from customers?

Don't take it personal, but when I'm looking into buying a product I look if there's any complaints from the item; I spend my money very carefully. So far from what I've found these headsets break easily. But I think they break easily because people don't know how to take care of them. =\

@Ghostex333 To be perfectly honest, we don't really get many complaints about the P11 at all. The vast, vast majority of the headsets we sell never have any problems at all. Everything we make has a one year warranty, and you're right, most of the problems people have are related to poor care.

@whoamagic Both headsets can be used on PC. The P11 is an amplified USB headset, which provides some 'oomph' to your experience. This makes it cost more than the Z11, which is a passive headset.

i use hdmi on a monitor too, but you have to still use the red and white to hear sound. So i just have them plugged in to nothing.

@TheFrazcaster You will need the AV composite cable that came with your PS3 (it has the red, white, and yellow plugs). Other than that, everything else you need comes with the P11 headset.

If you no longer have the PS3 AV cable, you can purchase it at pretty much any location that sells a PS3. It is not expensive.

I use to use the PX21. They hurt my ears after 15 minutes of use and had annoying background hiss. Get P11. Return them to the store if they end up sucking.

@gold3263301 No, this is not normal. Check your PS3 connections to make sure both RCA jacks are securely connected. If one is loose, you'll get audio drop outs. Also, try the headset on a PC or laptop to check that both sides are working. If you determine that one side is bad, contact customer support and they'll assist you under our warranty service.

I have also used my headset several times on my PC, and apparently, it seems only game audio is affected; but my laptop has all audio come through chat audio, so I'm not sure what to do after. I even followed the user guide setup, and the left speaker is still a little wonky at times.

@necjam1 Absolutely. You can hear bass at lower levels without it distorting, and hear higher treble without it sounding shrill. Basically, you get a more accurate audio reproduction.

Since PX21 has an amplifier with more features can just the amplifier be used together with P11? since P11 has 50mm speakers while PX11 has 40mm so P11 should sound better and all the other specs are identical except for the amplifiers.

@partyguy245 They are very similar. Both have mic monitoring, but the XL1 is not PC compatible. The P11 is not Xbox compatible.

@ignOatt I"d get the P11 because it has a USB channel and an analog channel. That means you can send chat to the USB section and game to the analog section, so you can control chat and game sound levels independently.

@jcamers If the PX21 is hissing, it's caused by the console or the controller (on Xbox). The headset shouldn't be making noise, but it CAN pick up noise over USB from the PS3 or 360. I'd suggest going with the PX21. The extra features are nice.

@ThePlantweed Each program lets you assign the audio output to a specific destination. The P11 comes up as a USB headset and you can connect it to your sound card output. When you set up your game, set the sound to go out of the sound card ouptut. When you set up your chat, set it up to go out of the USB. This will let you control chat with the chat volume and game with the game volume.

@TurtleBeachVideos I tried seeing if it works on pc, the drivers for the p11 says the microphone and headset is working properly, but on skype or anything else the mic won't work there either. Nothing on the headset is damaged, it looks as if it were brand new seeing as I bought it less than two weeks ago as I said. I doubt any wires inside are damaged. I researched the p11's for feedback and there were a lot of good feedback, but there was a lot of negative feedback on the input or output.

@RaLLyX352 I'm not sure what you mean, but the sound does not have to go through the TV. We show how to hook up the TV as a convenience for people who want to hear the game from the TV speakers and the headset. You do not even have to connect the TV at all.

@TechBrosNation all you do is put your hdmi from your ps3 to your tv. next you plug in your sd cables to the back of your ps3 alog with your hdmi. then you plug the audio cables from your sd cable into the piggy back jacks then just leave tose hanging dont plug them into your tv. then you are done! just go to the accessery settings and set it to the p11 headset!

@Zathorith555 Yes. When you plug the P11 into the USB port, it comes up as a USB headset and you can route Skype to it. Then insert the green plug into the sound card output and route the game sound to that. With this setup, you'll have separate volume controls for Skype and game.

@RaLLyX352 Stereo is great, surround sound is better. The P11 is stereo, so you'll still get a great gaming experience. Later on you can add a DSS2 if you want surround sound.
