Manna Day is a not only a excellent singer in his own right but a honest getleman. what he has said about Rafi saab is very true and in my view places Mr day at a very respectabel and honourable person. Kishore saab was an excellent singer but Rafi saab was a legend.

kishore is zero compared to rafi

All three were great. Kishore could gain the highest ratings only when Rafi sahib and Mannada faded out slightly, which often happens in show business. Kishore was a very good singer but Rafi and Mannada were par excellence. They had the raags in their voices, rendition whereas Kishore sang plain numbers. Certainly it were these two who had ';sangeet' in their voices and Kishore had 'geet'.
