  • Yes, that is where the Df shines. The excalibur false alot with the amp on it when in saltwater.but still deeper then a stocker but far short of the Dual Field. I did several side by sides this past summer with other hunters on the wet sand..One called the Amped Headphones..HP's on steroids, one thing..these results can be so different on another beach..like Boca Roton Fl, think the improvement over stock was around 2 inch's ..

  • I'm really confused. PI's by nature aren't affected by mineralization. Maybe pulse delay or pulse power caused the poor performance.

Great video though! Thanks for the comparison.

  • White's DF is a king in the salt water. I can go up to 40".

    ON the beach it SUCKS!!!

Do not even come close to Excalibur 2.

    It's a fact...

  • @dmatuse

Is the DF better than the Excalibur IN salt water?

  • Very informative comparison, tough decision which would be the best 'All Round' beach detector. Appears the Excalibur has fewer mineralization issues, hard to beat Minelab technology.
