I was there. You've got to remember, this was 2003, almost 7 years ago, he's playing at a busy bar, and not many people knew who he was. A lot of the people in there were his friends, anyway. It's not like now where he can sell out a 5,000 seat auditorium in 20 minutes. I actually prefer his music from back then, it was a lot more raw. Still love him as an artist, though. Always have ever since he started singing the songs he wrote as a kid during his spare time off from touring back then.
