Hey Christina, if you do that where I live you're going to get busted! A onetime yard sale is a whole different thing from opening a business in your front yard. Does she have a retail sales permit? Does she collect & pay taxes? How does this impact her neighbors' parking and lives? Would this have a legal impact on her homeowner's or renter's insurance? Imagine the liability she'd have if someone got hurt, sick, or died from something she sold.
If you sell something from your "freely" earned stockpile sale in your front yard, and someone gets a bad product and gets sick, injured, or worse--dies, do you have the insurance necessary to cover the lawsuits you will certainly face? My homeowners insurance doesn't cover reselling merchandise. And yes, your trip to Florida news flash, 15 minutes of fame, is helping the stores make the decision to add to the hardships of other couponers, like my daughter who just wants diapers. Boo hiss.
And even if this is legal, it is unethical. By taking all the items off the shelf, you're doing to others in need what the big corporations are doing to small business.
Im pretty sure this isn't legal. Buying to sell on without a license has to come with some kind of consequence. I think even some coupons actually sate not for use when you're going to buy to resale.
Enjoy it while you can. This time next year i'm pretty sure coupons won't even be available because of this kind of behaviour.
It was nice making a saving, we NEED coupons to be able to get by but with this and all the other extreme crap on TLC, coupons are going down the toilet.
No wonder the sale items are always wiped out! It makes me sad to see this because so many families are just trying to save some money and survive, but greed gets in the way of others and they ruin it for everyone. Please reconsider trying to get on the news for something that is SO WRONG!
I'm kinda mad at this lady! and its true some products do say not for re-sale! CVS puts stickers on their products to report if that product is up for re-sale somewhere else! What about how much product she has! I don't mind if you have alot of 1 item and you have a yard sale and try to sell that off but if your yard sale is set up like a market well i dunno!
Technically that is illegal by that i mean if she bought it at lets say CVS she can't resell it for profit they will sometimes have a sticker on them that say so.
How is this legal? Way to go Christina, you stupid woman. You are ruining this for us who actually have JOBS and try to coupon to make ends meet, and GIVE to people who need. Especially with stuff you got completely for FREE. Get a job you piece of crap and stop ruining this for the rest of us!
I am INCENSED Sure hope the IRS will get a copy of the link and maybe do a quick little audit on miss sure take the scope of 60 cents. OH MY GOD. YOU DUMB A SS. Now the "REAL couponers will be punished cuz of crap like this. Should have kept your big mouth shut.
I have a stockpile but DO NOT profit from it...my overages/extras go to the food pantry EVERY MONTH!! what she is doing si ILLEGAL, is she a licensed reatailer, is she collecting and paying sales tax to her town and state...........JUST NOT RIGHT!! CANNOT STAND people who do these things, they make it soooo much harder for those of that coupon ETHICALLY.
Oh buy the way..You are smart in your shopping ways but not when it comes to keeping your mouth shut about a good thing when you have one going on.. wait until you no longer can make that $300 or more in one day then you will be sorry...
Are you CRAZY? I dont really care what you do with the stuff you get for free or near free. Just dont go on the news ect bragging about for you want 5 minutes of fame. People like you and TLC is going to knock us coupons out of getting items we need to care for our famlies for free or really cheap when some of us need those deals to make ends meet these days.
You and them are only making it harder on you and us so I hope it is worth it..
they're just jealous

What is wrong with what she is doing?Major companies do this all the time-they get or make products for pennies & sell them at 10 times the rpice.
