muuuuyyyyyy buena cancion, creci con depeche mode......lo mejor de lo mejor....graciasss por estos videos unicos....alguien sabe si vienen pronto a México?
Does anyone out there know what the hell this song is about----in conjunction to the video? I'm not gay or homosexual, or, anything like that, but, I find these guys rather handsome, don't you think?!!!
@grumpypant It should be obvious. "The grabbing hands/grab all they can/everything counts in large amounts"
It's about the Big Money Boyz, the financial Masters of the Universe, the Wall Street Wizards and the rest who have given us this lovely recession while banking (heh) enormous profits for themselves.
I think it was filmed in Berlin. The tracks at 0:09 and 0:37 is the Berlin S-Bahn or U-Bahn. 1:53 to 2:05 is the Berlin Wall. And 3:08 onward looks like Wannsee.
your mom knows nothing...they are not...they are married to women...have been married to women and have kids....tell your mom then go strait to bed! It's past your bed time.
@eddiedelarosa2 Don't put down my mother for being curious. I guess you can't ask a simple question without getting a disrespectful answer. But whatever she or I said I'm sorry.. -_- Damn..
Do these advertisers realize the minute I see this shit I mute it and scroll down and read comments! Fuck them I will never buy there shit just because they advertised on here!
Right on, that's a DOHC CB750F at the beginning of the video. Now that's eighties for you. I like the bikes just as much as the music from back then. Awesome.
well the "music" today is prefabricated toilet water and that's why for 2010 the highest-grossing concert acts were old school acts with the exception of Lady Gag Me
DM is forever invincible! Don't think there will be another band like this. I thought Modern Talking came pretty close but not sure why they didn't take off in America!
Depeche Mode!! What a phenomenal band!! Such great memories come with this band!! This band rocked my soul and helped me through those tough teenage years filled with pain and angst and today, they help me get through the tough adult years living in this cruel, relentless world!! You can always count on DM to get you back to reality!! Depeche Mode forever!! ♥
The first time I heard this song back during the mid "eighties",I thought to myself..."what a greedy selfish song, grap all you can?All for themselves?"(but,I was only a young kid then).
By the late 1980's-early '90's,when I was a teenager in HS and got my drivers license & 1st car,I would bass boom this song!
Electronica and Techno was just taking off and this song put it on the chart. I remember staying up late purposely to try and catch it on MTV. Way back before there was any kind of guide to let you know what was on. I have always enjoyed DM and their way to cast a mind spell. Now this tune will be in my head all night.
I thank my older brother who is STILL a major fan of DM..for introducing me to DM and all the great new wave bands when I was small (i'm an 80's kid) and to this day...I still think all those New WAve bands are still the best..
no because some people actually like music from thousands of years ago and stuff.. or like you know like classical music.. some people just like classics it just happens... too..
I love this song thanks for posting. I have a video with me singing "Enjoy The Silence" on my page, check it out and please rate, quote and give feedback, thanks

I wish "ejector" would do a cover of this one. They just covered 'Photographic" but this is my all time favorite Depeche track. Still the best song ever, so clean.
@INIISIN Dude I so grew up on DM, The Cure, Siouxie, etc.....Grew up in L.A. in the 80's listening to KROQ. This music is the soubdtrack to my entire teenage life!!! My 13 yr old daughter loves DM, I taught her right. Our music will never die my friend!
@INIISIN It was...there was a time when DM was the music of alternative, cokeheads and BDSM teens and 20-somethings LOL They were not popular in the U.S. Only hip, club-going 20-somethings loved them in the 80s. Like a friend used to say, "it's the music for young people who cut their wrists" You had to be a dysfunctional young person to even consider liking DM back then!
@INIISIN a lot of synth techniques from today's synth masters, remixers, producers, etc were influenced by DEPECHE MODE and NEW ORDER. Alternative dance music and TECHNO, TRANCE, ELECTRONICA wouldn't be what they are today without DEPECHE MODE or NEW ORDER. I'd bet that David Guetta and Timbaland ripped off a few riffs from them ;-)
Everybody thinks that new music sucks compared to what they grew up with. Kids today will think the music 20 years from now sucks, just like your parent's/grandparents thought your music sucked. The only difference is that you had memories formed around it and they didn't.
@raiden1019 I don't see how you disproved what I said. I was born after this song came out and I love it, but I don't associate it with any memories nor does it remind me of any specific time in my life, at least not yet anyway. It's much easier to like what you know and are familiar with going forward, especially as you get older. Do you know many people in their 70's who like Depeche Mode? Different tastes for a different generation.
@jmp51985 I used to think the same way until I found grade-shoolers happening upon 80s hits on youtube and expressing their utter dismay at having been cheated out of such a robust and musically dynamic experience. I so wish what you said was true, but it looks more and more like something very unique happened in the 80s that we will never get back.
@breakwide I wouldn't say they were cheated. You could argue that their musical experience in 2010 is more robust and dynamic than you ever had in the 80's. Back then you were limited to whatever was in the local stores and played on the radio. You didn't have Youtube to access decades old music or obscure bands at a whim. The internet has definitely opened up access to music in a way never seen, while simultaneously horizontally expanding interest in different genres on an individual level.
@jmp51985 But the point is what happened in the 80's won't come back. Future generations can see what it was, but they aren't living in those times and seeing those bands in their prime. Also back then more people actually bought CD's instead of just downloading their favorite hits off iTunes, so I'm not sure that the internet is broadening horizons for everyone. I totally see what break is saying I was born in 85 so I just missed out on it. Depeche Mode became my favorite band 8 years ago.
@jmp51985 I beg to differ. I was born in the late 70s but I didn't even pick up Western music until I was 23. And nothing appealed to me other than the 80s new wave which was already obsolete by then. Few people with taste can dislike the 80s..
@jmp51985 Music reflects culture. This song is all about 80s greed. The music today is vapid and banal because society today is vapid and banal. Anyone can be a star, you don't need talent just a drinking problem.
@jmp51985 i might be one of the only few people who are VERY young(12 years to be exact) and actually like older music like i mean even back in the 30's!
@jmp51985 i am 18 years old, born in 92 my dad who was born in 63 got me into depeche mode, echo and the bunnymen , the jam and the english beat so what the hell are you saying?
@jmp51985 i am 18 years old, born in 92 my dad who was born in 63 got me into depeche mode, echo and the bunnymen , the jam and the english beat so what the hell are you saying? sounds like your passing judgemet.
No, I'm commenting on people passing judgment on newer music. Some sucks yeah, but it can't ALL suck and ultimately time will be the greatest test to see what pervades. Depeche Mode has sold relatively the same amount of music as Britney Spears, but which do you think people will look back at in 100 years and identify as being an actual contributor to music? I doubt it'll be the corporate propped-up pop princess.
@jmp51985 Just 'cause someone has memories formed around their music doesn't mean they should judge anothers. I guess I'd think different 'cause I'm diverse with my musical taste. But no one's forced to listen to music they don't want to and they have the choice to listen to music they do want to listen to. So I feel there's no reason to judge modern music you aren't forced to listen to. (: If ya get what I mean.
why no comments ? is it because no on gets these lyrics, like I didn't until recently? yes it is a dance tune but whoever wrote it speaks to the older disillusioned audience - nice job
come grab everything in my life with your grabbing hands ill be glad to give you

The handshake Seals the contract From the contract There's no turning back The turning point Of a career In Korea, being insincere
The holiday Was fun packed The contract: Still intact
The grabbing hands Grab all they can All for themselves After all
It's a competitive world Everything counts in large amounts
The graph On the wall Tells the story Of it all Picture it now See just how The lies and deceit Gained a little more power
Confidence Taken in By a sun tan And a grin

No, I don't think it's pathetic at all. It just shows that you have good taste in music. :)

why no comments ? is it because no on gets these lyrics, like I didn't until recently? yes it is a dance tune but whoever wrote it speaks to the older disillusioned audience - nice job
