Check out Improper Authority. They do a pretty good cover of this and the solos are much better IMHO.

I have been getting alot of attention to the solos that we did on this cover. I appreciate all the comments BUT please keep in mind we are a tribute band and these songs are our tribute to the great bands that wrote them. We do not try to copy them or be them, we do it our way. We leave the original versions to them because they do it best........

Great cover, especially the vocals.....why did the solo have to get ruined though? I understand making a cover with your own influences, but that (the original) solo made the song. And it's not that hard if you can play it with some feeling. ..... . good cover though.,...good for you.

This band played the Birch Hill many times. After Beyond the Black broke up ,the singer formed the band Lestat and played a few shows around the area.

The vocalist does a very good job, but you cant even compare the bands. First of all Judas Priest made the song, these guys make a cover. Halford in his early years was better and even today could have done a good job on it. I really appreciate that so many bands make covers of Judas Priest songs and this cover is probably the best I have seen of Dreamer Deceiver. This music needs to be kept alive and remembered for what it was, but I dont think anyone will accomplish the 80's metal bands work.

you need to check out "Xciter, quorum party", that guy is THE MAN! his version of dreamer deciever is AMAZING! no offense to this one which is great too but I think the other one owns it. check it out and see if you agree!

That'd be Jack Fontana....the man is a monster....but this guy here does INDEED do a phenomenal job....the fact so many aspiring vocalists relish tackling this song when their chops are polished enough to do so is testament to Halford's might and originality.

Thanks for the comment. Mike, who did the first solo, actually came into the band 2 days before this show and had to wing the solo. He is playing an 80s Charvel thru a Modded 76 Marshall JMP half stack. 2nd solo Nat used a 70 Les Paul Goldtop w/Duncans thru a 5150 Head and JCM 800 4x12 cab
