  • thats a huge tank for such little fish.. :P

  • impressive layout, though the composition of the objects within the space seems proportionally unwell. It might be well suited as a shrimp tank, and meets all minimum requirements, but I think you can bring this tank to new hieghts. I can understand here though, that with that amount of shrimps will interfere with the look of even the most beautiful tanks. nice work keeping your shrimp happy, as you have compromised aesthetic for the wellbeing for your shrimps.

  • hey TheAquaGarden,

how to control the pH for a large tank like that? what's your pH lvl? how many % to make the water change per/weeks? Thanks

  • @d2jsp911

my pH from tap water is already 6.8.. I keep stabilized the pH by using ADA Amazonia II. It really helps to stabilize the water pH. I only did 10% water change each weeks...

    :)

  • really nice

  • wow this is amazing in australia for just one of these they are 21 dollars its stupid

  • @whatscrakn101 shrimps are so expensive in aussie only worth getting yabbies here lol

  • @whatscrakn101

hehehe.. I'm lucky here then.. :p very very cheap here...

  • would you be so kind to tell me what kind of substrate you use and why?

  • @stoyashot

ADA Amazonia II. It helps to stabilize the pH around 6.5-6.8 ... also makes the water softer..

  • What's your water parameters?

  • @yadid

    TDS 70-110, pH 6.5-6.8, kH 5, gH 4, temp 22-24C

  • amzing wow!!!

  • whats your water temperature?

  • @AdrianNYHz

    22-24C :)

  • wat moss you using

    btw nice crs

  • @TheRascal395

thanks... Those are Riccardia graffei (chamedryfolia)

  • is there another way you recommend to keep the ph low besides using ADA Amazonia. its very expensive online :(

  • CO2 injection but thats not cheap either. unless you use one of those tacky DIY ones. Theres also leaves I believe that can lower PH. Your best option would be to invest in a RO/DI unit mix that with tap water to get a PH level you like

  • @quesadilla247

I don't use any CO2 injection... :) Yes I have RO unit, to maintain the TDS around 70-110..

  • hi i'm from Indonesia too, Surabaya-East Java..

yo should add some background there, blackbackground maybe...

what kind of moss is that? i can't see clearly from this video...

i've just bought 2 of them at mall

do u know how to differentiate between the male and female?

    thx u

  • Ou.. hi hi... yes. I'll add black background soon... That is Riccardia chamedrifolia... It very difficult to differentiate the male and female until the shrimps grows older and berried... :D

  • wow i love it.

  • he he he... thanks...

  • do you sell these? you could make so much money if u sold some.. since they are around $10 each

  • you'll be surprised if you live here in Indonesia... they're ultra cheap... below US$3 each...

  • fantastic!

i wold like to know how is the care of the water. if it`s 30% weekly of whater change.. or more?

    thaks man

  • Hi,

Thanks for viewing my CRS tank.. :-)

I do about 20-30% weekly water change.. :-) ADA Amazonia substrate is very helpful to keep the water condition very good for the shrimps.. So, I don't do a lot of water change more than 30%... 20-30% is just perfect for this tank..

  • amazing.

  • thanks.. :)
