I did what you said, but I didnt restart it right after, I opened the market. I dont see many apps that I can get. I watched you video on good apps and most of the apps I couldn't find. Should I reinstall these apps?

My 7012... wherever i put these unzipped files on the Kyros, i am unable to find them when i look for them on the tablet. This is very frustrating and I am lost.

How do I do to unzip the files? I unzip the GTabler on my computer and put on the tablet,but when I open the file folder the files don't have this Android symbol, they look red as you said... How can I make it work? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Hey. I got a problem here. I put the G Tablet file into the tablet (debugging is on and USB storage is on) into my tablet (the same as yours only the applications place looks different). I try to find the G tablet file in the ES file explorer and i could not find it. HELP!!

when I try install the file called "OneTimeInitializer-signed" the tablet said: application not instaled. Can you help me?

@Fernandesol You will most likely have to start over, you must follow the install in the order listed and do not open anything untill everything has been installed and the tablet rebooted!

@Esaron just got it to work, apparently it was pre-installed on mine so i un-installed it through the manage app area, then installed it through this guide's setup.

I installed the on eon daprospectors page. when complete it came up with a closed screen when I go online to watch ABC full episdoes it says that I dont have the lastest version. Love you stuff but I found I want the adobe flash player 11 which is on market.android.com but because coby didnt come with and they didnt purchase an authorization for it my device will not show up as a device in the market. do you know of a way to to install it yet it should run on the device

every time I try to bring up the market I get to the terms of usage agreement screen and before I can do anything I "an error has occured" and it closes down. Any thoughts?

@wsogary Thanks so much for this tutorial. I've been trying to get on the android market ever since I got this tablet for Christmas. I'm wondering, I'm trying to install these apps from the market (Facebook, angry birds, flash play) but it keeps telling me that my device is not compatible for these basic apps. Am I just not going to be able to download them, or did I do something wrong? Thanks.

@penry31782 You should be able to uninstall and reinstall the market app. this should take care of your problem.

I managed to get the market installed and it works, but for some reason I'm still not able to track down the Pandora app like I can on my andriod phone... that's what I'm ultimately after!

Thanks for the video, unfortanaly I selected the default settings and then I accidentally selected setup wizard, and the message upon boot states "The application setup wizard (processcom.android.setupwizar­d) has stopped unexpectedly.Please try again." Gary, thanks for your videos. Before I found your video, I was really disappointed that the Google android market does not work on this tablet. Unfortunately, the store I purchased this from won't let me return it, as it has been opened.

I had no problem with the Amazon appstore, so I was able to get Angry Birds that way - but Angry Birds Seasons crashes. Some of the other apps via Amazon were buggy or too large and I had to uninstall them.

Thanks for the videos Gary. Unfortunately Google has apparently done something to app market. I can access the market and download, but cannot search anymore. If I search using the web app market, it says the program will be installed but it never is. Why does Google want to limit access to this? Crazy...like a store refusing to server certain customers. And what makes it suck worse is the whole platform is based on supposedly open source software licenses. Should be illegal.

Thanks a lot. After installing the market, if i search "Let's say Angry Birds Season", After selecting that name from the list, I get an error.

I had to go to free Apps and then select Angry Birds season from there without searching.

Also, Angry Birds work fine but Angry Birds Season does not even load. After showing "loading for like 3 minutes, screen goes black and home page aapears up. I do have Adobe flash 10.3.xx installed on 7012.

@rocker777ist You have to Wipe and factory reset your tablet. this means you will lose all you data and it will be back to when you took it out of the box. I have one additional question. After the Google market/apps were installed, my 7012 no longer displays the screen unlock screen on bootup. Rather itI directly goes to the home screen. Any idea how to get the normal screen unlock screen back?

Your video didn't mention that when you reboot the 7012 after installing the Google apps there is a startup screen that gives the choice of selecting for "Launcher" or "Setup Wizard". I take it that the correct choice is to select "launcher" then to go to the market app where you can either create a new Google Account or enter the userid and password for an existing account. Is the Google setup wizard never to be used?

Hey gary, Great videos buddy. So, I am in the market to purchase a tablet, see that you have had this tablet now for a little bit..how is the overall fluidity of the tablet? I need it primarily for web surfing, watching videos and it doesnt have to be HD 720p is fine enough for me, also..does the unit have a camera and a microphone? I see that the price is very low for such a tablet, this is why im wondering whats the catch? Thanks gary, appreciate the vids again

@dixie11 Mic yes! camera No! Most of us have a phone with a camera so I did not think it to be a deal breaker. The sound quality on the tablet could be better. I found a recoarding app on the market that help to improve it.(virtualrecorder)
