This is my favorite song ever. My friend asked me to sing at her wedding recently..This is the first song that came to mind.. i hope if i DO sing this song, i do it justice! It might be a bit deep for my voice but i think it's the sentiment that's most important.

I married the love of my life we had are good times and are bad times but we never ran away when we had problems we would sit down and work it out, I am old man now and she is gone to be with her creator and a day doesn't go by when I don't think about her and there are times when a tear or two will roll down my cheek but what I remember most is all the love and joy she brought into my life I was blessed to share many years with her, this was are wedding song.

@PieStealer I agree. Modern Music is mostly crud. Its just random noise sometimes that they pass off as music. And if you try to show them something good like this, they think you are pschotic and listen to your grandparents' music. I'm the only person in my school who knows who The Police, Johnny Cash, Areosmith, Al Greene, U2, Electric Light Orcheastra, Van Halen, Jet, Ben E. King, The Drifters The Beatles and all the rest are. Its terrible how far society has fallen and will continue to fall.

But you're right about the society that falls but I don't think that it has fallen as "bad" or "hard"(I don't know which word is correct.English is not my best language) as you may say. Memories help us to live and learn so we can make better choices for ourselves, and no matter how hard you try, you'll never forget that kind of feeling. One day you might find someone else (even though you feel like there is no one else for you) and that memory will help you do it believe it or not. The past is part of the future, because it helps make it. Love is a beautiful thing, so don't give up on it. :)
I'm 14 and I feel like my generation is screwing things up, I know some of our songs are good but most of them are about sex, drugs, and money. Things that we as a teen or even adults shouldn't do to mess up all of our life. This is just my opinion on things now. Plus the songs back then are just simply amazing... (: I hope you all could agree.
@PieStealer100 - there's good stuff now, you just have to be choosier (and accept the subject matter)... and keep in mind, even if the music is listened to by your generation, generally it's been written by people who are at least a generation older, so blame the crap music on them!! :-)

I've been there, when I was a naive 21 year old! I loved this girl, she was roughly 10 years older than me! At the time, I would answer her phone calls in the middle of the night and dash off to her house in the pouring rain at short notice! Now I'm a bitter and twisted single 35 year old male! It's amazing how times change!

If a man is controlled and manipulated by a women through the magnetism of love, that man loses his identity and soul as a human being (vice versa)! I have learnt to follow my head, not my heart! @PieStealer100 Don't take this the wrong way, I completely agree with you. I just hope you'll think the same way four years from now. I know a lot of people that got caught up in this lifestyle. So stay cool. I'm twenty now and to be honest, sometimes it was a bit hard to find someone who really thinks like that in high school. Still worth it though :-)

@PieStealer100 Yeh bro, i myself am also a teen, and i agree with you! ive been brought up my whole life on time-less classics. there is 'some' good music nowadays, but the size of that 'some' is scarily growing. and artists now are running out of ideas so they have nothing else to turn to but Drugs, money and sex because everyone knows that stuff sells. otherwise they go back to the old school and try and 'cover' classics but instead they ruin it and destroy the meaning and value of the song.

I've been there, when I was a naive 21 year old! I loved this girl, she was roughly 10 years older than me! At the time, I would answer her phone calls in the middle of the night and dash off to her house in the pouring rain at short notice! Now I'm a bitter and twisted single 35 year old male! @fanfam Thanks for the reply, I understand where you're coming from! Women can be very manipulating at times! From previous experience, a healthy relationship is a 50/50 arrangement! If a man is controlled and manipulated by a women through the magnetism of love, that man loses his identity and soul as a human being (vice versa)! I have learnt to follow my head, not my heart! At the end of the day, there is more to life than relationships and I'm quite content living on my own!

@Wildfox01 really thx ,never saw it from this point of view.Indeed it must come from two sides.One thing i know about myself is that over time i would have become less nervous and myself better when around her.She just gave me no time.I told her to ,i was crazy off her and needed time to get down from the cloud.Now i am ,but she is gone.Maybe women like men more when they are there like a real man from the beginning and not a nervous man like me.Alone,no thats not a option for me

Some people put themselves under unnecessary pressure, just relax and be yourself! Everyone is nervous to a degree! If she left you, it proves she wasn't the one for you! I like to be in charge of my emotions, that's why I recommend mediation! The definition of a real man is a man of responsibility!
