  • Tuvan tuba?

  • For å legge på stemme / synge samtidig som du spiller åpner du opp halsen og "legger luft på stemmebåndet". Prøv det også uten tuba som om du skulle spilt på munnstykket. Enkelt når du får det til og kjempegøy.

To add voice/sing while you play; try opening you throat and add air to your vocalcords. Try without instrument first. It is real simple once you can do it. It has made me able to add a highpitch tone a couple of ocvtaves higher. Good luck!!

  • AAAh, fy flate ass!

    Pytti rakkjen sin!

  • baadsvik is one more. Lars Andeas!!"!!!!

  • Pure genius.

  • No it's not, i do this quite often. I'm a music education major and my major instrument is tuba. This is just an example of multiphonics, yes it is difficult on brass instruments but it's actually quite easy once you get it down, it's a combination of playing and singing.

  • This was a responce to Tant09

  • That made me laugh. :D

Just hum and play and practice.

  • ur sick broo

Lars Andreas Haug quintet - FABATUNE (CLP CD 107)

  • Very cool!!!!

Love the circular breathing and the multi-phonics..

You should give all us tubists a masterclass in how you achieve all those sounds!!!

Five years at the Royal Academy of Music in London and I never came across anything like this!!

The percussive ones are especially interesting.

    I can already play multi-phonics...

    Bravo,

    cheers,

    Phillip

  • toco tuba + esse cara e maluco

  • This is great! Just like Steven Mead...

  • Mead? LArs Andreas is the master!!!! Mead is one more

  • ok... what I said beofre about not being sure of believing you... Now I do... :) great tuba playing..uh. singing. you were using circular breathing werent you??? Are you going to be in Australia for the International Brass Festival in Melbourne or is it someone else?

  • man forget about the beatboxing flute guy...this definately tops it

  • actually amazingly both of them are the same concept (singing into the instument).

  • i still think this is better though....its not written sheet music with a twist....its just stuff the guy makes up....and the beatboxing flute guy sure he sings into his instrument but its not multiphonics.....there is a difference

  • yeah, this guy is one of the best jazz tubaist in the world, he is realy great
