  • Excellent job with the video. Tell Rod this was an excellent choice of music. The instrumental helped complement your storytelling. Would love to see more of your creative productions.

  • Very nice vireo and your children are all so beautiful

  • @CastleRecordz Awww...thank you

  • Her name is Kia well Nikia also known as Ma_ _s(she hates her First Name so I left blanks). LOL! I believe we met before at FMU. Its been a very long time since then but I believe that you were the only cousin that she brought on campus. Yes, I have a memory like an elephant. :) If you are Kia's cousin, Congrats on everything and I wish you and your family the best!

  • @shatoyta2000 lol..wow...well yes you have a good memory..that is my cousin..yes she does hate her first name you are right...I remember going on campus a few times with her, but I don't remember names very well, but thanks for your kind words... :)

  • ok wow. love your vid. You look like my friend's cousin June and we have the same bed. Small world. keep doing your thing.

  • @shatoyta2000 My name is June..lol..who is your friend? It is a very small world indeed..and thanks for your comment..

  • Your hair is so beautiful and so are your kids...

  • @nubianprincess766 :) thanks...urs too!

  • I absolutely love your grade of hair...soo beautiful

  • @DezRaeVocal how sweet of you...thanks..

  • I just love this video! I have a question for you.....how do you maintain or shall I say prepare your hair for overnight? I just love your hair it is so healthy and gorgeous!

  • @lajay2cute Hi again!.and thank u...If you mean, how do I prepare my hair when it is kinky??? Then all I do is spray it down with water so that it can receive oil. I mostly use argon oil, olive oil, or an herbal oil mix that I find at Walmart...I am not to savvy when it comes to many other products..Then I do about 6 big plaits like Momma use to do...If I am wearing it flat-ironed, I don't add anything to it, so that it remains ungreasy and full of body, I just wrap it and go to sleep..lol

  • @lajay2cute Thank you very much I will have to try that argon oil. I am not savvy either but trying to learn better ways to take care me and my daughters hair. Blessings to you and thanks again=)

  • Wow that was amazing :) You have a beautiful family too. I love natural hair so much I let both my son and my daughter get their own natural growth journey and we're never gone cut it, dye it, or relax it. We support eachother.

  • @Longhairstile awww..thanks so very much..that is the ultimate compliment when you say something nice about my family...yes, I actually did my son's big chop about a year and a half ago when he was 4 years old and now he is 6...i really regret it..he always asks me if he can have his 'circle' hair back, meaning his afro..lol..I told him that I will not cut it again..I knew he was attached to it but his grandpa and others pitched fits about how long it was, but I will make it up to my baby :(

  • @mrsjlong Haha a circle. I've been through the same thing with the people at my old church telling me that his hair is not going to grow right due to him being a boy until I cut it when he's 1, and they would tell me that every time I went which was 6 out of 7 days back then. So I cut my son's hair because they pressured me into it as well as a lot of things. I regret giving into the we know better than you do people when they really didn't. To make matters worst....when his biological/father

  • ...my passed husband asked me if I was growing our son's hair out so I said yes and I started telling him how much it ment to me. He came down from Germany about 2 mths later to pick up children for 2 weeks and take them to his old home over 100 miles away and left them their for 3 days then 4 days later dropped them back with my baby's hair gone and his forhead was all cut up. My son's hair journey has so much drama around it and his long hair represents how long his bio has not been around...

  • @Longhairstile That man's the type of person that don't see his children except for once a year and the most important thing he could think about was take away everything I do special for the children. I just assumed he would cut my sons hair to spite me but his goal was to make me think that he wasn't and I believed him then he cut it. I should have known better. He doesn't even like our son and he just got worse I'm just glad he finally left us alone or maybe I accidently moved hhhmmmmm LOL

  • @Longhairstile wow..that's deep...well,my old church actually loved his hair, but now that we are no longer in cold Detroit, I thought it was uncomfortable for him during these scorching summers here down south..but I guess it shouldnt be any hotter for him than it is for me...Hubby wants it to grow back..I think he wants to live vicariously through our son's hair..lol..I didnt even let my 2nd son's hair grow after seeing how attached I was to my oldest, but we may let both of them grow out

  • Beautiful Sis! You're children are absolutely gorgeous and this was such an inspirational video. Be blessed!

  • @DalaiMama17 awww....thanks so much,...wow, u know, i have been inspired so much by others on here, it's nice to hear that I could encourage others...

  • very nice! having an "i want a relaxer moment" and your video is a great inspiration

    Thanks :-)

  • @TLaurenDS wow...thanks! Yes, I had many of those moments in the beginning..but when I weigh it out, I realize that I can still get the look of the relaxer if I really have to fill that desire for a little while..and straight hair looks better to me when it is not relaxed straight..it has way more body, in my humble opinion...I don't have anything against people who want to relax though, but I really have to say I enjoy being natural and my hair is thriving in this state..keep on keeping on..lol

  • very nice video.

  • @onli1luv Thank you!

  • I'm loving it.. Your hair is so nice.. I wish you the best.. Happy New year..

  • @kasina25 Thanks for your kind words!!! Happy New Year to you too!

  • love ur vid, im natural I wear my hair straight only because I was not patient enough to find what products work for me...what kind of products do u use on hair?

  • @sinamen516 thanks:) well..when i flat iron, i use Nexxus Heat Protectant, if that is what you are asking...and I also use a wee bit of Argon oil. When I wear my hair pulled back, I use Eco gel with Olive Oil and I like the Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1..I havent done a wash and go in about 6 months, but I would probably try the Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 for that also...I am still figuring things out here so I don't have a set regimen... except for when I flat-iron..

  • wow! ur hair is beautiful! love the video. do u use the maxi glide flat iron as well? and ur son's hair is beautiful too.

  • @emerald052083 Awww....thanks so much for your compliment. No, I don't use the maxi-glide, because when I first saw prettydimples09 use it she didnt seem to be so impressed with her results, so I passed. I did see a lot of good results from the GVP flat iron. I was on a mission to find a CHI in Sally's and they didnt carry them, but another shopper told me about the GVP and raved that the results were even better than a CHI, plus it was cheaper so my choice was clear. It works great!

  • Beautiful young lady.... love your hair! I'm on that journey now... lol and I'm having so much fun styling my own natural hair; we got the best strands on earth, very flexible and diverse. We have our own unique hair... the best. Keep stylin' and profylin' PEACE!

  • @2561243 Agreed...it is sooooo much fun...I have my hair straight for a while, then my husband is like "what happened to the fro?"...lmbo...I think he likes it just as much as I do...

  • @mrsjlong Yes... the sistas need to realize that the brothas are tired of the weave thang, and are pretty much tired of the straight look too, men confide in me and tell me that they wish the sistas would wear the hair the Creator gave them instead of all this crazinest they're doing to their hair, the brothas want what's real. We are naturally beautiful and we need to flaunt it...lol!!! I love my natural waves and curls :)

  • your hair is beautiful. love the results. and your hair is so long. i love it

  • @PRETTYDIMPLES01 O Wow! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment, and thanks for your compliment as well :)

  • your hair is beautiful. love the results. and your hair is so long. i love it

  • BEAUTIFUL***

  • @MoBrownSuga Thank you so much!

  • Hey sis!!!! Sweet vid, I love the pics. Your hair has really grown over the last 3 years. It looks awesome. I know what you mean about the single strand knots. I'm currently plagued by them. We need to start doing each others hair sometimes, for real!! Love you!! Keep up the good work!

  • @dreamichelle Thanks sis...yeah..once I straightened my hair I could have cried when I saw all those little knots and they were just making my hair pop off when i combed through them...they are almost impossible to get out unless you are very very very patient and have a lot of free time on your hands to weed through and find them all....we shall overcome the single strand knots though...lol
