People, in the original versions Brandon and Sky switched places to experience a different life. It was later discovered within season 1 (episode 17 or so). Its just a 'minor' plot point that was cut out of Nicks super abridged version. Kind of like why the call each other winx... there is a cute reason behind that.

Nick did a great job on this show. Sure they changed some things like the card portal thingy but that was corny anyhow. I think they did a fairly good job. Especially how they cleaned up the drawing. Expect the voices. Blooms voice sounds like she has trouble talking XD

@SarahOokami1 I do believe that that was only a refresher for those who used to watch it. I heard that they were going to be focusing on seasons 3 and 4 and not 1 and 2, it's odd yes but 4KidsTV went off air before they could finish 3 and 4 so I'm sure things will get better on Nick. :)

I hate what Nick did to this show. They changed the story and they didn't lie about prince sky and brandon's identities. I also miss the old voices of the characters. Nick also rushed the story so much that some parts didn't make sense at all. I won't be watching the nick version at all for now on.

@MyEvilapple actually, Nick is only summarizing the first 2 seasons in one hour specials, its the only way for them to do that since they plan on showing the fifth season in February 2012, they are still going to show season 2 and 4 and four in regular episodes and actually, 4kids made TOO MANY changes, thats why they don't show it on that channel anymore

Wiki said that nickelodeon's new version sums up seasons 1 and 2 in 4 one hour long specials and then goes through seasons 3 and 4, unlike 4kids version. They will also add seasons 5 and 6 or something. Idk it's different, and dumb in my opinion. I wanna watch the very original italian version.

Wat's going on!!! I'm watching the world premiere of this on nick and i felt something was different so I watched the original. Everything is different. They changed the storyline a bit, Bloom's and Stella's outfits, and even Bloom's dad's coat. Why the coat!?!?!?! Nothing makes sense. I can see y they would want to change Bloom and Stella's clothes but the jacket?!??! I have a feeling you don't want to watch Nick's version!!!!!

@CheriiAB I used to love Flora's voice. It was so soft and gentle and made me feel so calm. But the Nick version changed her voice, and everyone else's. Techna's voice was so technical, I loved it. @CheriiAB Nickelodeon and Rainbow (the original television station that did winx club) are teaming up together to make a season 5 and 6. They are short cutting and editing the original cartoons so that they can make the new episodes to they're liking. If you're younger and didn't watch this show when you were younger, than you wouldn't know that this show played 7 years ago and JUST now they're bringing it back. I'm watching it for old times sake. I loved Winx Club when I was little.
