  • he jumped on the sofa. big fucking deal. should he leave an apologetic suicide note? fuck off oprah!

  • boxes of notes? thats crazy..not even brando did that

  • So rehearsed, he is a total closet bender!

  • out of sync.. but so is Tom's brain so.. it fits

  • Out of sync. :l

  • tom is a just a fucked up scientologist, being manipulated through out his entire life from the time he was just a small problematic kid (see the excelent French Documentary: Tom Cruise - One Day One Destiny - Subtitled ). When one aceepts the fact, everything even the "sofa incident" (btw i loved the way oprah refered to it) seems just in place

  • (it was funny though great tv sofa moment yet i was scared lol ) i wish stop repeat thing oprah

  • Like other great success, Tom's biggest enemy is envy. Anything he does will be twisted out of proportion.

  • People in the media like to make a fool of people...The media, the tabloid media, in particular, make a fool of celebrities in order to exploit them for ratings...They virtually destroyed the reputations of Michael Jackson and Princess Diana and, in the end, it was the dreaded papparazzi that played a key role in the death of Diana...Had they not chased her & Dodi down, like vultures seeking their prey, they probably would be alive today...It boils down to ratings & readership &, by ext., money.

  • @fishandfestival Had the Matt Lauer interview and the Access Hollywood interview where he tore Brooke Shields to shreds never happened, the couch incident would have been looked upon fondly and not seen as so creepy.

  • Tom Cruise was once the Prince of Hollywood...He had blockbuster and blockbuster, from "Risky Business" to "Mission Impossible 3", but, unfortunately, Tom's star fell from the glorious position it once had...He was fired by Paramount for his conduct, according to them...The sofa incident, the Matt Lauer incident, etc...I think Paramount profited enough off of Tom to have given another chance and I think Tom should have respected the fact that he worked for Paramount...Both were wrong, I think.

  • Tom talks like he has people over all the time...I never would have guessed...Tom's home is so cozy and comfortable...I love it...I remember when I first saw Tom in "Risky Business"...I knew that his career would take off after that...I bet every male college student in America wanted to him when that movie came out...That underwear scene is one of the best in American cinematic history...Besides his Scientology beliefs, Tom's a pretty normal guy who lives a very exciting life and is a good guy.

  • Actually the leather bound scripts are pretty cool. Definitely some keepsakes there.

  • The jumping on the sofa was a delightful spirit-filled expression of pure joy . Rather than merely tell others of the bliss he was feeling over his new found love, Tom went further and showed us. Very poetic and absolutely acceptable in the environment of the Oprah show. Unfortunate that there exists legions of mean-spirited people in society who grasp this opportunity to nail Tom to the cross. Such people are to be pitied but ignored. I hope Tom's spirit wasn't quenched. He is so vibrant a man.

  • This is horrible...he shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable about being excited. Oprah knew what she was doing.

  • The Sofa "Incident" was fun to watch, people blew it waaay out of proportion.

    Give the guy a break!

  • inane! why am I watching this crap?

  • What's the big deal? He jumped on a sofa. People are so fucked up..

  • Does she really have to say EVERYTHING twice?!
