Additionally, notice McLaren's seething hatred of Christianity masked in calm sarcasm as he jests. That man needs to be marked by all Bible-believing Christians as a deceiver and false teacher.
Lies and manipulation of scripture -- "Jesus has removed the wall of hostility between the insiders and outsiders" -- wrong, he removed the wall between the Jews and the gentiles so that ALL could receive salvation through the gospel. This man is alluding to the idea of adopting secular culture and its sin in the name of postmodern "Christianity". This is not meaningless criticism, this is contending for the faith.
