i think they could make a game with all the monsters (maybe even gamara monsters) but i highly doubt that they would have EVERY generation of monster there... its basically all the same, of course they will have the 3 types of godzillas and 3 types of mecha-godzillas, but thats it.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to watch this video. At the time of its original post, I truly believed this game could be a reality. But as we all know by now, it was indeed only a rumor and no announcements have been made about a future game. But we can continue to hope, and maybe one day this game can be legitimate. The target audience/demographic is children, so don't expect anything grand any-time soon. And more monsters would only take time & effort away from making the core gameplay & story better, it would be preferable to focus on a smaller group of monsters & deliver a more focused experience.

Not real, Toho is busy working with Legendary Pictures to Reboot the American Godzilla franchise coming in 2013 or late 2012.... but i assume after that we might get some new games if the film is a major success... We got New Godzilla Comic's coming in the 2 months as well

They should make a game called Godzilla vs. Gamera: Battle for supremacy (something to that affect, lol) and have it feature a host of monsters related to all Godzilla series', and those related to Gamera series', THAT is what I've been waiting for for YEARS!

Godzilla is apparently a natural force of destruction feeding off the souls of all those killed during world war 2 and is wanting mankind to pay for their actions. i think, haha. @MasterChiefZ28 even in the first movie godzilla didn't go out of his way to kill people...actualy now that I think about it he'd be an amazing final boss for the game the most Evil Godzilla their is as the final boss gots a nice feel to it.
@icjburke grand ghidorah is probably the most powerful KG, and cretacious is weaker than the normal, being from prehistoric times. so to answer you, there is the regular KG, cretacious is just like him, looks different and is a bit weaker, and then Grand Ghidorah is bigger, more powerful, and more awesome looking.
i hope its real that way i can play as ZILLA JR!! and fight all the monsters from the series. coz ive always wanted zilla jr in a game coz he is just as awesome as the japG in my opinion :D

If they do include all the incarnations of all the monsters, they probably will do so with a type of "outfit" system, like when go to choose a character you can change their look. BTW you forgot Varan and Gigamoth.

They should make it on the xbox 360 and ps3 so more people will get it and should let you be able to play online because gu gets pretty boring once you beat it and unlock all monsters and pics it would be nice to test your skills against other players
@barrysandershof you are very right. i have a 360 right now and when Unleashed came out i was very disappointed it didnt have a 360 version. Plus, if on the 360 or PS3, the graphics would be much better.
IF this game is made i doubt they'll include kaiju from the cartoons and side films like desghidorah, dagarlah and grand king ghidorah, plus all the kaiju that reappear in the series will most likely have the exact same move sets which will get boring pretty fast
@PopInPicsCentral well, (supposedly) they claim to include every monster, and they would be lying if they didnt include monsters from GTS and the Mothra movies. Those are apart of the kaiju universe and if so said they should be included just like every other monster. Besides, why let obsidius and krystalak be in it, and not fan favorites like Zilla Jr. or Grand Ghidorah?

@PopInPicsCentral yeh it needs something new. i thought it'd be cool to play each monsters own different story line, like you said, reenact the movies, but with each special story lines, fighting different monsters and such, but adding a much more intriguing atmosphere, but still having the standard fighting modes.
ahh i don't know why everyone likes GMK, personally i think it's the worst next to Godzilla's Revenge... I mean, the fight scenes were cool and the plot was alright... but I personally hated the costume design and that he went from being an Antihero (for those that don't know someone who is bad but still is fighting for good or something wierd like that) to a complete enemy! I mean, i didn't like the whole showa superhero thing, but I like Godzilla as an anti hero, just my opinion.

@MuffinManMatt13 Actually, it doesen't PERCISELY mean Zilla, by the pictures i've seen, it looks kind of like Godzilla 2000, but, if they screw up and make Zilla again, I at least hope it is based off of the cartoon one (who had some kind of atomic breath, and could actually fight and didn't get severely hurt by the military) and he has SOME kind of monster to fight, like i'm mad that they scrapped the idea for Godzilla vs The Gryphon, it would have been better than what they gave us in 1998...

If they do include all the incarnations of all the monsters, they probably will do so with a type of "outfit" system, like when go to choose a character you can change their look. BTW you forgot Varan and Gigamoth.

They should make it on the xbox 360 and ps3 so more people will get it and should let you be able to play online because gu gets pretty boring once you beat it and unlock all monsters and pics it would be nice to test your skills against other players

@barrysandershof you are very right. i have a 360 right now and when Unleashed came out i was very disappointed it didnt have a 360 version. Plus, if on the 360 or PS3, the graphics would be much better.

IF this game is made i doubt they'll include kaiju from the cartoons and side films like desghidorah, dagarlah and grand king ghidorah, plus all the kaiju that reappear in the series will most likely have the exact same move sets which will get boring pretty fast

@PopInPicsCentral well, (supposedly) they claim to include every monster, and they would be lying if they didnt include monsters from GTS and the Mothra movies. Those are apart of the kaiju universe and if so said they should be included just like every other monster. Besides, why let obsidius and krystalak be in it, and not fan favorites like Zilla Jr. or Grand Ghidorah?

@MasterChiefZ28 i get what you are saying but i think they ment all the monsters in the godzilla movies but either way more monsters would be awesome i have always hoped that they include the godzilla story line, not just fight a random monster time after time that's BS i want to play reenact a godzilla movie, destroy tokyo as gojira, or maybe fight the trio of kamacarus on monster island you know, like the dbz games

@PopInPicsCentral yeh it needs something new. i thought it'd be cool to play each monsters own different story line, like you said, reenact the movies, but with each special story lines, fighting different monsters and such, but adding a much more intriguing atmosphere, but still having the standard fighting modes.

ahh i don't know why everyone likes GMK, personally i think it's the worst next to Godzilla's Revenge... I mean, the fight scenes were cool and the plot was alright... but I personally hated the costume design and that he went from being an Antihero (for those that don't know someone who is bad but still is fighting for good or something wierd like that) to a complete enemy! I mean, i didn't like the whole showa superhero thing, but I like Godzilla as an anti hero, just my opinion.

@darktooth57 well, i mean, i hated the fact that he was a total enemy, but toho screwed up the godzilla franchise so much by making so many movies direct sequels to 1954, in which he was bad. I liked the design, but you are welcome to your opinion. why do you not like the suit used in gmk? (if i may ask) plus, Godzilla 2000 is a perfect example of anti hero. after saving tokyo by killing orga, he goes on a rampage and roasts the city.

@MasterChiefZ28 Yea! The whole Millennium series were all direct sequals to the 54 one, the only linking movies they had were Godzilla against mecha, and tokyo SOS, none of the others linked! I was so confused with the Milennium series, although i seem to have a soft spot for 2000 because it was the first movie i saw when i was little, Anyway, maybe the reason is because the GMK Godzilla scared me as a kid (I started with 2000, then wached alot of the showa, then GMK) and i didnt like the no

@MasterChiefZ28 i didnt like the no pupil look, and the fact they completely changed the 2000 look, I also never got why King Ghidrah was good, and being helped by Mothra (who fought him in 2 of the 3 Return Of Mothras) and that Godzilla was bad! I don't know, growing up with the Heisei, and 2000 being an Antihero, and watching the superhero kiddie part of the showa era, (i.e. G vs Hedorah G vs Gigan, and Godzilla's revenge, take note that i never wached the 54 version at the time, i never knew

@MasterChiefZ28 that Godzilla started as a force of pure destruction) anyway, after watching those, it was discomforting at my age to see Godzilla as a pure evil guy, and being beaten up by other monsters, and till today (im 14 now) ive just always hated GMK lol, thats the story, and yes i agree Godzilla 2000 was the best example of an antihero

@darktooth57 lol, i'm 15 and you know, I grew up watching the showa series seeing godzilla as the hero monster, then it all changed and he was depicted as an evil being so that didnt sit well with me, but nowadays i'm fine with it. it'll be interesting to see how Legendary pictures portrays godzilla

@darktooth57 well, i think LP will do godzilla justice, but i've watched godzilla 1998 a couple times in this last week, and i thought, you know, its not a bad movie, its only bad cuz it has Godzilla as the title. this would've been probably a lot better received by fans in it was called something else. but oh well, the cartoon was great, Zilla Jr. was much better, too bad he never got his own movie

THERE MAKING ANOTHER MOVIE OMG i an the biggest godzilla collector im ocean pines i have almost every movie and have had almost every game ... when final wars came out my town news paper said that it was the last to be made film that made me pretty sad but after a few years i have gotten over that and continues collecting (still dont got all i could tho) if they have a new game and movie coming out I WILL HAVE THEM...I grew up on godzilla from te tv shows to movies since i was 2...hope 4 new 1s

@MuffinManMatt13 Actually, it doesen't PERCISELY mean Zilla, by the pictures i've seen, it looks kind of like Godzilla 2000, but, if they screw up and make Zilla again, I at least hope it is based off of the cartoon one (who had some kind of atomic breath, and could actually fight and didn't get severely hurt by the military) and he has SOME kind of monster to fight, like i'm mad that they scrapped the idea for Godzilla vs The Gryphon, it would have been better than what they gave us in 1998...
