Yes! It's a fantastic guitar. It's a great guitar to switch to from playing an electric and not wanting to readjust your mindset - if that makes sense at all.
No. It can get a great acoustic sound with an Acoustasonic amp from Fender (I have a 30DSP, and soon after this video found some good settings for it), but this guitar has 3 piezo pickups and isn't really made for an electric sound.

awesome guitar, i have a question, are you able to get an electric like sound out of it, with some distortion or something on the amp?
