this is a great film ! mitchum is at his best when he plays these dark and disturbed characters.love the scene when he explains the love and hate tats on his hand and the scene where he goes in the basement looking for the kids.mitchum is one of my all time favorite actors.my favorite films by him are night of the hunter, out of the past and cape fear.
I will buy this because I must, but I don't understand these crummy cardboard cases Criterion uses for their 2-disc Blu-ray sets. Their clear plastic Blu-ray cases are so much classier, and sturdier. :(
That part where he pops up in the basement is SOOO SCARYYY, even here in the trailer!
