There isn't much point in trying to "popularize" this story, because the plot is very nearly incomprehensible. The hero dashes off to fight in the Crusades and a few minutes later the enemy (Saracens) shows up at the party in Provence. Then later the wedding party magically travels to Hungary. Just focus on the dance, much of which can be beautiful, and forget about the silly story.
and enough foreigner principals too. I thought this was AMERICAN Ballet Theatre. Where are all the homegrown ballerina's gone? Guys too. What a shame.
who choreography is this? This is certainly not Petipa. Its a shame that ABT is throwing their resources away on this nonsense, ruining the old repertory rather than trying to restore it. This is rubbish!
McKenzie must be doing drugs or he is confused with the plot , he has a lot of imagination , but he can´t preserve traditions
