As for graphic Witcher will be much better but NWN series is much better for every true rpg fan (in my opinion). While playing NWN you are able to create your own character, in Witcher you don't have choice. In Witcher you don't even have to choice your weapon. It is still very good game but as for me NWN 2 is better.

Yes, but you know that, the RPG is ROLE PLAYING game. Choise of profession, weapon etc. is "only" bonus, not important thing. Own chracters are hmmm... without soul, but Geralt for example is great and extended character.
PS. Sorry for mistakes in this post, but I'm polish and my english pretty sucks.
