I've got the impression that Robert likes to brag a little about himself, and he's always the one that wants to talk to the public. I think he takes to much credit for LZ, but that the other bandmembers have accepted him for what he is. Although Jimmy Page is the brain behind it all. Of course, LZ wouldn't have been the same without all the four members.

I think when Jimmy rolled his eyes at Plants comment he was doing it in a humorous way not actually trying to say he was an asshole for saying what he did. Jesus Christ dude!
@Lenjia I agree. But I have seen a press conference during the Page and Plant years when Plant made some comment, Page did a sarcastic laugh, turned his head and had look on his face that said,"Fuck him! What an asshole!" But they love each other like brothers do.
@headdbangaa roberts joke about the solo career is very funny...and jimmy didnt roll his eyes in a bad way...he was laughing to his provocation about the 80s world :D

Was it successful¿? or only he said for your own ego? the time give the true reason, and what the music was always it will remains...and saying I'll do better than the past not is in human hands, and the best music allways remains and the ego dessapears like a candle.
