  • @NathanielEverist Haha Its been a year since I tried this and I STILL cant do it haha. very frusterating. but I think its time to move on lol Your videos are still awesome

  • LOL "People on drugs will love this move"

  • ahhhh man thats amazing. just tried it........ ouch. ha, i suppose practise makes perfect. :-)

  • Yeah. thanks alot anyways your videos are awsome anyways :)

  • I did do it shorter now i dont hit myself but i just cant get the timing right :/

  • @MrSorrow696 sounds like it'll just take a bit of adjustment to get used to, if possible, you can try using the longer length, but just hold your arms further from your body, without seeing you do it, it's hard to give advice.

  • so I have been trying this and when i kinda think i almost got it i hit myself in the chin multiple times :/ this is very discouraging :(

  • @MrSorrow696 Yor poi may be a little too long, try it with slightly shorter poi.

  • your tutorials for me are addicting to watch its all ive watched all day. You are like my favorite person in the world right now haha.

  • @MrSorrow696 lol, thanks, that's verty flattering.

  • Yea with glow sticks are very hard i can do them but they arent solid and i cant get the isolated fountains down but

  • You have wonderful turtorials,,, I have a problem learning this move, and I use glowsticks (although i've seen it done with glowsticks) Do you think it could be a weight issue? I never used poi, are the weights of them between glowsticks similar?

  • Yeah, learning with glowsticks will be far harder. It is much more difficult to do isolations with lighter weights, and glowsticks are far lighter than you're average poi set. I recommend learning with nice and heavy poi and then decreasing the weight bit by bit until you can do it with glowsticks.

  • who doesn't like a light show???

  • @godsend420 man people in my area dont..... im from south texas.... and i am very frowned upon when i bust out my strings..... and people like dont even respect you they just walk into your area on the dance floor and expect you to move out of the way.... and its hard down here cause people tend to just stand around in the dance floor... very irritating for people like us

  • bummer if i were you id say fuck em let them get hit bet they move next time

  • Damn man, I know exactly what you mean, and people do it not even when I'm poi-ing or whatever, even when I'm just dancing people cut in front of me, and then just stand there. So rude, some people have got no respect for dance-etiquette.

  • thanks for this :)

  • very good video...thats just what i was searching...now i just have to keep practicing hehehe

  • Taking one poi by both ends is a good idea, and also following one end with the other hand.

    Nice!

  • Cheers, yeah I thought the piece of wood with two nails in it to hold onto was a good idea, until I realised soon after that you can do the same just holding a poi at both ends.
