  • thanxxx abundantly for making this vid! I got my sponge and it works lovely with my naturally curly hair- i can leave my weaves alone for a bit, haha! Please make a vid showing ur growth progress. *_O! smooches

  • Thank you !!! I haven't got a sponge yet but I'm going to!! I've been using a brush and it leaves little parts uncoiled. Your method looks like the whole head gets coiled with only spaces in between, no fuzz!! Can't wait to try it!!

  • @SolarEclipz58 Thank you for watching! I hope you experience fabulous twists :).

  • Wow!! Amazing ((:

  • @amanda25ful Thank you soo very much amanda25ful.. :) Peace and Blessings

  • I'm gonna try this. I saw the video from the UK first and the first thing I thought was I wonder if I can make that sponge and then I see your video, I'm gonna get a sponge TONIGHT!! Thank you!

  • @paulsonave Alriight :) :) Wishing you the best, hoping your hair comes out beautifuly :)

  • Thanks for sharing :0) I'm going to try your sponge routine on my Nappy headed grandson who is 27 years old, but hates to comb his nappy A** hair. Hope it works for him. I'm going to use mango & lime gel\w the sponge.

  • @Ksweet2015 HA-haa.. OK.. Thanks for watching my vid.. :) Good luck over there ;).

  • You are an innovator a Queen of industry! Never, ever, sell yourself short! Be proud of your ingenuity and progress! Thank YOU! Have your invention, patented please?

  • @tubebitch12 Thank You soo much for your interest.. I wish I had the money for a patent but in the mean time I want everyone to be happy with there natural hair as I am. :) :) I love people even the mean ones :).

  • thanks for the tip

  • @MrJrocc09 You are alwayswelcome.. Thanks for watching.. Stay blessed :).

  • @QUEENATHAND OMG........thanx so much,im going to ge a sponge for my afro...thanks girl

  • @QUEENATHAND wat moisturizer do u use though?.....or u make your own,if so hook me up

  • Thank you for make it easier for us with natural hair. Love ya!

  • @dayshine100 Thank YOU.. thank YOU.. Ilove it when people are happy.

  • does it work with straight hair?

  • @eduaz47 Humm staightened kinky har, or European like straight? You would have to tease your hair at the root to emulate kinky hair.. then use the sponge. Tease tease and more tease(taking a small toot comb holding the hair upwards, pull down the hairs quickly). Some folk call it backcombing. Thank you for watching my vid ) peace and blessings to you

  • how deep n how far apart did u do the holes n wut did u use 2 make holes?

  • @thisist1950 Hello Thank you for watching my vid. I used a pair of scissors to make the holes. pinch and cut in a circle. Make as many whole you can without letting them touch. Im not sure how many you will hav depending on the size of the sponge. As many as you can fit onto th sponge without letting them touch. :) Peace and blessing to you .

  • @QUEENATHAND wut do you do 4 2nd day maintenance? Also, how many days wear do u get b4 having 2 re-do?

  • @MrNoralee I think it depends on if your using gel or some kind of product that gives your hair an extra hold. For me I didn't use a product that had a lot of gels or extra hold, I had to re-use the sponge every other day for defining my twists and partings. a good week overall if your not wrapping you hair up when sleeping.

  • @QUEENATHAND THX SO MUCH 4 SUCH QUIK REPLY. 1 OTHER ? WHEN U RE-USE SPONGE, DO U TAKE UR TWIST DOWN OR NOT? AND DO U HV UR HAIR WET OR DRY AAAAANNND DO U USE ANYMORE GEL? SORRY 4 ALL THE ??, BUT I AM 62 N GETN A LIL SLOW I GUESS: :-) BTW, UR SON IS ADORABLE!

  • @noralee4825 Thank you for the compliment :) :) You can comb out your twists or re-twist with a little more product. I guess it depends on product buildup and the freshness of the twists. I think you ca make it last about week with out washing, just use plain water in a bottle and your essential oils in a spray bottle.. or your gels. i love the questions keep them coming :) Peace and blessings to you :) :)

  • @QUEENATHAND anyway check out my new video, I used the sponge, only pics tho may do a video the next time

  • @QUEENATHAND I forgot what I asked lol

  • this actually works - thanks! I found a place in the Bronx that sold the other product - they wanted $30 for the sponge and $40 for the sponge and solution. That is ridiculous!

  • @taws548 Thank you for watching my vid :). I am so happy you didn't spend that much money on asponge :) Peace and Blessing to you !!

  • With this work on my hair. been natural for years and trying new stuff. It's about 3-7inches(damaged - some lady cut if for a drug test and it never grew back) and suggestions? Thanks Sis. U rock!!

  • @LadySugarGlider I find that using this Sponge Method on up to 3 inches of hair come out better defined/ with partings on the scalp. Thank You for watching :) :) Happy Holidays

  • I'm glad I came across your vid. I was contemplating purchasing that $30 sponge.

  • @mssmtaylor1 Exactly me too !!!

  • @anita4168 Alriiight :) ! It's good to have options :)

  • It was only God that made me come across your videos. I LOVE YOU!!! My hair is 6c LOLOLOL. That nappy true nigga stuff (that I love) that is super hard to define. This technique did the trick! 10 minutes from wash n condition to set n go!

  • will this work on longer locs?

  • @nubianqueen6 I've tried.. It make clumps of hair at the tip. tried on 4 inches of hair. Your parts will be hard to see.

  • damn u r fine girl why dont u holla at a brother

  • Looks good

  • @ANNILOC Thak you:) :). Blessing's!

  • Can I just use eco styling gel or a regular gel instead of locking cream? Thanks.

  • @cjslimcan2008 Yes use which ever gel u like :). Thank you for watching my vid(s). Peace and Blessings to You..

  • will that work on permed hair or must it be completely natural? Thanks.

  • @harlemhoney3170 Maybe if your hair is short n permed, you could tease you hair before you add any gel or oils.. Take a thin toothed combtease your hair from tip to root all over?? humm I think this could would on permed this way.

  • Patent pending!! You are a genius :)

  • @fabykitty36 ha-ha.. lol thanks. Take care blessings to you :)

  • 0k so please let me make sure i got this, wash and condition my hair, get some beez wax, get a sponge pinch out lil holes in the sponge damp my hair and scrub it? please tell me its that easy cause i will do it as sooooon as i get these comb twist out my hair next week. I LOVE how real you are!

  • @neiceyp00h That's all you do.. The more holes you can get on the sponge(without letting them touch) the smaller the twists. I used the sponge method on my 2 1/2 year old son head.. I will post Live video on how this works on my sons hair tomorrow :). Thank you for watching my vids.. Peace and Blessings :)

  • Thank you for you persistence and willingness to show us your loc technique! Blessings.....

  • Thank you so much because I just cut my hair low and wanted a style that I can do with my hair. I am going natural and I appreciate you taking time doing this video...

  • @mthicknessable Your welcome :) :)

  • Oh why thank you alot for all the information and same to you God bless and i have decided to put twists in my hair and i have a mohawk im letting it grow out Ill put a video up soon im letting my hair grow more its about 4 inches now and i put lusters s curl in my head also to look like i have a curly mohawk

  • I have a question so when you do with sponqe do you rubb it in circles hard and wht if you dont put any loc wax or gel in jst conditoner

  • @SavaqeKereo Hello Thank you for watching my video :). You don't have to put anything at all in your hair except making sure that it is slightly dampend with water. You can put conditioner, wait until your hair dry a little to where it isn't dripping wet but moistened. :) I hope this works :) take care peace and Blessings.

  • so how often should i rub if i want to loc up ?

  • @Ja93master Rub until you have the desired txtur.. Then singly apply a locking creme of gel to help in the locing process(use fingers in the direction of the twists). wear a head rap at nights to keep locs in place.. Leave you hair alone and let it do it's thing :). I hope this helped. Peace.. Stay safe from the bad weather ahead!! :)

  • U so dam cute

  • @cjdallas85 Thanks.. Thank you for watching my vid.

  • you are so funny!

  • it worked!

    thank youuuu :)

  • @Ja93master :) you are welcome :) Take care

  • how much rubbbing does it take for your hair to look all clean and twisted ?

cause mine twists but still has some loose hairs :l

will the hairs lock up with my twists over time ?

  • @Ja93master Hello thank you for watching my vid.. :) Try not to over moisten your hair.. Some hair twists better with very little moisture. Try using natural oils with completely dry hair.. Maybe this will work. Let me know what you come up with :). trial and errors are fine :) :) Peace and blessings

  • haha!! u just put Nu-Dread out of business. thanks for ur video!!!!! ;-)

  • i was actually going to buy nudred until my wife saw your video. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a car washing sponge for $1.50 and cut holes in it. IT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used olive oil, raw shea butter and a little hair gel. It does the same thing Nudred does. Thank you for saving me $38.50 and much much more because i would have continued to buy the Nudred products. You are a genius!

  • @Studblack404 I am happy that you are HAPPY!!! :)

  • Great vid. It's really amazing! If I didn't just spend a month starting my locs five times, I would definitely do it myself :)

  • @JesusLovesDenise You know what.. I used to always be in my head.. at every moment messing around, but now I am just going to leave these babies alone... let em' loc up.. no more latch hook.. that becomes addictive, lol atleast to me.. Don't wanna be bald ha ha.. :) peace and Blessings

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did exactly as u did & my hair came out beautiful..thank u...now i paid 1.99 for my sponge & nudred wants 39.99 for their 'sponge'....thx

  • @traskwetahanna Alriight now!! :) :) there ya go.. do it yourself and save half the dough.. Glad you are happy and on your way to some kool styles :)

  • Hi Queen, I now have my hair in a two strand twist all over. Your look so pretty, sorry I could not get that one, but continue to put those videos out. Thanks

  • @Ilovejesus9559 Thanks.. Like wise ;)

  • Hi there, your hair looks so pretty. I just went and bought a sponge, followed your directions but only around the edges of my hair twisted. I think the sponge method only works for hair that is about 1/2" short, if it is longer, it won't work. I was so excited, but it did not work in my hair. Its so pretty, now I have to find another hair protective style. Still, your hair is pretty.

  • @Ilovejesus9559 Hello :) thanks for your response.. Sorry you couldn't get your hair the way you wanted using the sponge technech.. Try starting with the tips of the hair.. (lightly) in a circular motion sorta like teasing it.. In any case I am happy to know that you are protecting your hair :). Thank you for the compliment :) :)

  • @TokenGaiSensi Thank you.. :) :) I hope this works well for you..

  • good lookin lol .. shorty said " i aint str8 finna down myself" lmao your foolish

  • @vbcollins1987 Dogg on riight.. LOL :) :) :) Have you checked out my Loc Journey? I am posting a fresh new vid later today.. Was on a bit of an Hiatus.. ~ Peace

  • love it!!

  • @jkalm4ofus Thank You sooo much :)

  • i luv ur vids gurl....lol..

i watched ur vid and bought me a sponge and cut holes and it helped alot.....my hair looks just like urs does....thanks girl......keep the videos coming....

  • @reallyfe1978 Thank you sooo much, I am happy you enjoyed my vids lol :) .

  • I'm so happy i see someone using this technique because people just dont believe it works and it is so easy. The full truth is that you dont even need to make holes in the sponge check Naijaamericana's channel he just uses a sponge without any holes. You dont even need to use a sponge you can use a towel or a fibre cloth check apennie1's channels. This method is just too easy for some guys to try and make money off some nu...something.

  • @kingdomoffspring6 Thank you for your response.. I tried my own method to the nu- thing, instead of buying it.. thank you for the other tips :). There is a whole new world to me on how I can twist my hair.. thank you for posting the user names.. more goodies for me and my subscribers ;).
