i am 17- i joined the military, one of the best decisions i made in my life, i think everyone my age should join the military- that way they will stop being immature brats. i get really pissed because people tell me "your joining the navy!" as if something is wrong with it, well all of you who are going off to college to be little self important pseudo intellectual sheep, just to go through 4 more years of institutionalized educational bullshit. fuck civilians.

Respect has to be earned. And the military didnt do anything in the last 50 years ,which could earn that. Its just the moronic slogan : "Support the troops." But why? I would, if someone would need my help. For example,if one would stand against the political decisions, like Agustin Aguayo. He said no to the Iraqwar. And i think, the only "brave" man, which defended civil libertys in the army in times like these are people like him.
