FB on salvaging the SB200. I run an SB200 every day with my 897. Very clean job on recapping the PS and replacing the resistors. I went the easy route on mine and used the Harbach kits (PS/Softkey/Softstart). Is yours 110v or 220? I get about 625w on mine from 110v input.
It looks fantastic. I've just bought one of these fully restored, but that black paint job looks so slick it's made me want to do it to mine. Makes the amp look younger, I guess because everything in a shack in the 60s/70s was that pale green.
No amps at my qth. Nothing over here goes over a 100 watts. I have an Icom 718 for hf and a g5rv junior that works very well hope to talk to you on hf soon!
