For me Perfect Dark it's the best game of all time on the Nintendo 64! Although many prefer The Legend Zelda: Ocarina of Time... (Great game also) It is the second best in my opinion, I don't know your opinion, but that's my opinion.

I'm pretty sure that last level with him running around with the lazer watch was from Goldeneye. Man Goldeneye & Perfect Dark were so kick ass for the N64 & the controller the N64 had imo was prob the best for shooters. It felt like you were holding a gun compared to the DS3 & the 360 controller.

Great video, Perfect Dark was an awesome N64 game. Perfect Dark Zero was a fun good game, but not up to the original in terms of everything. Hopefully the next Perfect Dark game Rare makes for the Xbox 360 is much better

Best FPS on Nintendo 64, I played A lot of hours/days with my friends in Multiplayer I think this game can still compare with some of the other games nowadays.

My favourite weapons were:

Mauler,Cyclone,Laptop Gun,Super Dragon,Reaper,Slayer all kickass weapons.

Perfect dark was one of the funnest shooters I've ever played. The only thing I didn't like about it and Goldeneye was the lack of a jump. Even just a little hop to get on top of crates would have been nice. Ah well. Great vid, 5*

This video made me realise many things... First of all, why this remains one of my favourite games of all time. Also, just how much better it is than the disappointing Perfect Dark Zero (which was still good, but crap in comparison). And also how much Rare have gone downhill since their Microsoft buy-out. This is when they ruled the development universe!

Rare lost their head guy Martin Hollis shortly after starting PD 64, he also fronted Goldeneye. It's hard to tell who was responsible for this game being so awesome since it likely recieved all of its polish and customization after he left. Not long after him the guys from Free Radical (TimeSplitters) left too. So it really is a mystery how this game turned out so good with all the in-house staff problems. Hollis now runs a studio called Zoonami, so we'll have to wait and see what they can do.
