I haven't been to a Dukesfest in five years now, but this for me was a dream come true, seeing all those General Lee's out there, I rode ten laps around the Bristol race track in one and was in line nine hours but got Bo's autograph, still my best moment ever! That and the fact that he accidentally hit me for some reason made me extremely happy, it was one of those schoolgirl crush moments lol. Still, love him, love the cars, great video, thanks for keeping the memories alive!!

Starting at about 1:20, I think I've had nightmares just like this, with the dozens of dixie horns going and all. It all starts out with me, restoring my car back to the metallic teal and black vynil top and ends up just like this footage, with me crying at a nascar track, surrounded by a swarm of confederate flags.

this was June 2008. There is no Dukefest scheduled for 2009, but there will be a few other smaller shows with Dukes cast, and/or stunt crews. Someshere in that sea of Orange.. is my car... and yes, after the initial parade laps, some did get over 7 mph.mostly on the back stretch...
