Cancer is a brutal disease. I know because I am now going through it again. I found out today that I need major surgery. My bladder must be removed. I will give it my best shot Roeleke. Life doesn't get any easier as we age.

Adri was singing it so warm and it touched me immediately. So that song was for me very very special. It was such a beautiful tribute to your husband Roeleke. I know how difficult it must be to be the one left behind and it hasn't been that long yet for you.
Cancer is a brutal disease. I know because I am now going through it again. I found out today that I need major surgery. My bladder must be removed. I will give it my best shot Roeleke. Life doesn't get any easier as we age.

I became blind on one eye, also an encapsuled tumor behind my eye. But we go on, Bev, keep courage my friend and stay strong, but I understand also so very much that all kind of feelings must go and have gone through your thoughts, my friend!

Absolutely, they're never completely gone, since I've lost my Mom in 1994, I've realized this,..I talk with her, laugh and cry..I feel her looking over my shoulder, walking with me..and for me personally my religious beliefs concerning her death give me peace.

Dear Derek, I can say now, sadly,.. that I understand you. 19 years seems a long time... but the pain will always be, I recognize time is not important. The only thing is: what do we do with it? I try to learn from my relationship I had with George, but also still HAVE with him. Because the bond with our beloved ones will never die, dear Friend! That is my believe! And makes me strong!

natuurlijk kan ik wel kijken naar je tribute aan jou lief
en wat heb je dat mooi gedaan lieverd. ik krijg het gevoel dat je george een echte lieverd en een gevoelig mens is geweest.
vind het zo mooi jou te zien voor dat levensgrote portret, hoe je doorleeft met hem toch in alles verweven wordt daarmee gesymboliseert voor mij,..en het einde is geweldig mooi een zwaaiende george,..zo bijzonder!

Als ik mijn tranen mijn loop heb laten gaan kan ik een reaktie aan je geven:
Wat een geweldig mooi eerbetoon aan George, zo geweldig met overtuiging gezongen, ben diep geraakt.
Ondanks dat wij George niet hebben gekend herdenken wij hem vandaag met eerbied en respekt, dat is wat we voor jouw sowieso willen!!!!!!!

Dank je wel dat jullie deze belangrijkste video hebben willen zien. Ik heb er een tijd over heen moeten laten gaan, dat ik dit lied op deze manier kon zingen. Het is Het Lied, dat voor mij voor George is!
3 weken na zijn dood hoorde ik dit op regionale tv door Adri de Boer gezongen en ik was in dikke tranen. Hij zingt het zo ontzettend mooi! Hij heeft deze video ook gezien! Zijn begeleiding is dit ook!
