hey blade me again any idea why the Stun rod gives 5 sec bonus??

and is ther any way it can be imported to normal merc mode via mod or any other way???

@LilaCroftGreece I suppose they wanted to give Chris an extra advantage for melees, since the gatling gun is meant to obliterate all enemies.

As for mods, well I doubt you can for the console versions, but there always seems to be a way in the PC version. I'm sure there's a forum out there dedicated to just RE5 mods.

@grayfox196 I didn't realise you meant that, since that question had already been answered. But the damage done by the gatling gun is 350 HP. The stun gun does the same damage too, which is a bit of a coincidence.

It's hard to believe that such a big gun does so little damage, even a pistol it's stronger.

Your focus on melee's really really really hurt you in this run. Heavy Metal really doesn't have very strong melee's. On the flip side, Barry does. So does Excella. So if you continue melee focusing on your first playthrough's, those look to be the ones to look forward to most.

@Prolink I just enjoy performing melee moves more than blowing the enemy away with a shotgun. But since melees are more risky to perform, you tend to lose your combo. Plus I am a bit rusty at the moment. I haven't played RE5 for a while and the controls can be hard to get used to.

Just a tip when you shoot a guy once in the leg with anyone then to do front melee it never usually kills better to do the instent kill move
