OBSERVE PPLZ:

1.) Create a .dll file that converts pictures to .txt

2.) Lua edit the 10sec. update rate for E2 fileLoad() (meh bee)

3.) Use the E2 command fileRead(S) to read the ever changing .txt file

4.) Use an E2/CPU to decode the the .txt file to pixel's

5.) Link to a digital screen.

6.) Look down into the lower right corner. He did this as a VIDEO, not a pic.

(Ive attempted this before with 0.1 FPS, it IS possible)

I don't know how he made it, but it's possible. He probably wrote application that read pixels from webcam and writes .txt file with these pixels in garrysmod/data/e2files. In game he wrote e2 that reads file and sends data to CPU ship, calculates and writes into Digital Screen Memory.

File uploading into server takes like 10 or more seconds, so it could be that fast like in this video only in singleplayer.

@CJ147 Techincally no, if you where able to use this with the wire socket radio you could send data from your server to another and be able to show an image over the internet trans server, my friend and I are working on an emulator using this thing on 2 single player servers with the NPC controler and the wire socket radio so the NPCs act as our players on eachothers servers

Dunno what you mean but it's pretty much a shared memory between the wire component and the application. I rewrote the whole thing recently, so now you can write to the wire component too, which then gets sent to the application. In this video I just set up a CPU that copies everything from the component to the screen, the app converts the webcam image into a digital-screen compatible format. Nothing more and nothing less. :P

Programm grabbt frames von der webcam, resized sie auf 128x128, rechnet es auf Grauwerte runter, sendet es via Sockets an meine wirekomponente, welche die daten in den internen speicher schreibt. Der Wire CPU kopiert die daten dann nurnoch auf den screen.

Ich sehe nichts was daran technisch unmöglich ist.

(Bitte frag jetzt nicht was sockets sind.)
