I really suspect barra breeding around donybrooke as I seen anther boat whilst fishing it land one.all and all its good for everyone!

  • kreamkrop you actually dont know shit about fishing. and what do you mean this far up, wher the hell do you think cairns and 70% of australias barra spots are.

  • WOW! Ive heard of a few bieng caught in the coomera river, I thought it was a joke! Apparantly quite a few people have released them as pets that have grown to big over the years. A friend told me they caught two out on a fishing trip on the Coomera river a few weeks back. Im impressed! I want one!! lol well done mate!

  • good on you kreamkrop i think you mean this far down , and it was caught at the coomera river, it was a pet that was let go 6 months earlier in the fresh water of the coomera river and was washed down to the salt in a flash flood, and as for barra not being this far south there has been several captures in the logan river, and all so the noosa river has them, so its obvious your just a dumb fuck who dont know shit!!!! lol

  • i been fishing the coomera for 17 years and it was a shock to see this thing boatside, trust me mate i thought i was dreaming!! but a tackle shop owner had this thing in a tank and it outgrew the tank so he tried to give it to seaworld and they didnt want it, so he let it go above oxenford causeway as he couldnt kill it . i was just the lucky bugger to hook it down the gravel shoals while chasing jacks and bream !!

  • whatever dickhead, you didnt get that at coomera theres no barra this far up .

  • nah bro there is a few now aye, a guy just caught a 70cm barra in the nerang, it was in the newspaper catch of the week, last week that is.
