  • Could have enjoyed the comparison better

If you would ditch the ghetto music. No class!

  • @IchbinAmerikaner Yeah, the music is distracting. I apologize for that, but then again, I'm not a pro at this video editing stuff. It's all a learning experience. "No class" is dissing someone for trying.

  • @banditbbq You know Bandit, I cant even remember sometimes when I

became such a jerk. You made a great point about just getting started, Your way ahead of me. I regret saying such a " NO Class" remark in response to your video.

I hope you have a good holiday.

  • I don't like bullet because you can't get enough meat on it for a party. It's basically for a small family.

Can you cook a whole hog on it??

  • agree with previous postings, put the water pan in empty then you can chuck it it quick time then fill it, doh.

  • Thanks for the video...on to part 2

  • Why not put the water pan in empty, then fill it up with a pitcher?

  • There's no way you fit a full bag of Royal Oak lump into the WSM. I can never do that.

  • Hi Chalemi. No, it wasn't necessary, but was a rookie mistake when I made this video. I'm learning. Thanks for watching.

  • was that "music" really necessary? Hard to hear Jason speak. Sheesh!

  • @chalemi Hi Chalemi. No, it wasn't necessary, but was a rookie mistake when I made this video. I'm learning. Thanks for watching.

  • Turn off the music!

  • how much charcoal per slab of rib..how much charcoal is too much..lets say i was cooking 4 slabs about how many pounds of charcoal..or chimneys full

  • what do you do with your air vents when starting the smoker. whats the best position for he air vents when your bring it up to temperature and then after you put the meat in. how open or closed do you keep them

  • I keep my vents at 100% when starting the smoker, then as it gets up to tem I just tweak them closed. It all depends on the temp outside and the wind. but once you get your temps set they maintain really well, on the Weber.

  • Kill the "music."

  • Good info but the back ground music / sounds make it hard to hear what the bbq guruis saying.

  • some good info here if you can get past the Blair Witch shakey video ;)

  • Wouldn't it be easier to fill the water pan after it's assembled?

  • Yeah, that's something he usually does, but may have gotten a little nerveous with the camera rolling. :)

Thanks for checking out the video!

  • nicely done. i have seen this vid posted on every forum i'm on!

  • Thanks Monty! It was a lot of fun to make. I'm looking forward to making more videos.
