  • I WANT IT!!!

  • WILL THIS BE ON FLIGHT SIMULATOR X? IF I BUY THIS GAME? HELP I AM SOOO CONFUSED?

  • @leeboyy1 you can download planes.

this is not a starter aircraft.

  • i thought as a safety precaution thrust reversers can only be activated when the nose gear strut is compressed?

  • @funkyboys we unlock them on main gear touchdown, and add any significant reverse thrust once the nosewheel is down

  • Very Good

  • What fucking flight?? it stayed grounded moron.. Problems with you're joystick sado?

  • Amazing! For more than half the video I tought that was not a sim!

  • lol this is the first video of jon i see with so many dislikes HATERS GONNA HATE

  • The 747 was such an amazing sight for people when it first came out - the world's largest passenger aircraft. It put millions of smiles on people's faces. Now the fabulous aircraft is being replaced by the so called 'Made in France' (more like 'Made in China') stupid A380.. c'mon 747-8 keep the memories flowing!

  • @MrAviator12 First of all you have to know things like this happen in life. And second of all yes, I love the 747 but although the A380 beated it, were still lucky we have the 747-8. And plus, in the future there will be bigger planes than the A380 so you can stop complaining about it. And also in the future the Boeing 747 will eventually

retire. Luckily there will still be alot of 747s before they sadly get scrapped and retire.

  • @nickelfilling1 Well if you think about it - you can't really compare the 747 much to the A380 - considering Airbus make claims such as "The A380 has _% more cabin space than the 747" - well that's just stating the obvious. It would have more cabin space since it has 2 decks, I just believe the two should not be compared and both should serve on their own.

  • @MrAviator12 Thanks for the help. After you said this I agree with you, the 747 and the A380 should not be compared, they should both serve on their own. LottoWinner999 should learn from this. He's always comparing them and whoever likes Airbus he just replies to them in a bad way and swears at them. He should be ashamed of himself. I was just telling you what would happen next to the 747s. The 747s are a amazing sight and they will always be in my heart.

  • @nickelfilling1 I agree about the Lotto Guy - to be honest, I want both the 747-8I and A380 to be a success - the legendary 747 should be compared seperately as a One and a Half deck aircraft and A380 as a double deck aircraft - in now way should they be compared. And besides it looks like Boeing and Airbus seem to be settling their differences with American Airlines splitting the new narrow body orders between Boeing and Airbus.

  • it's very good

  • wow i thought it was real in the thumbnail

  • nice touchdown

  • vERY COOL, PERFECT SOUND

  • that lufthansa livery looks a little 'off' to me!

  • NICE!

  • Awesome Video! Truely amazing quality!

    I have a question though.

the sound of the engines, where did you get them? i remember hearing them in a different fs video.

  • Good video!!

  • where did you get this plane

  • S T U P I D !!!!

  • i think once the 747-8 gets delivered to its buyers, then the interest in the ordering of them from airlines will establish.

  • pretty fed up of non-identified sim videos

  • i will upload my next vid, it's a long-haul flight with a747-400 and 747-8i

  • the front wheels took wayyyyyyy too long to touch down

  • 0:01

  • Had er ff bijgezet dat het FS was

  • fan made

  • fake flight simulator BULLsh!t

  • Uau! Very beautifull aeroplane and great video! Thanks for your movie :)

  • PLEASE CHANGE THE TITLE THIS IS NOT THE FIRST FLIGHT OF THE 747-800!! TITLE IS MISLEADING!!!!

  • So where's the real plane ??

I think you need to get out more fella.. Look out the window if you can't get away from you're toy planes..

Look up and you might see a shiney metal object in the sky.. THAT'S AN AEROPLANE you SAP!!!

  • I am so sick of this computerized crap

  • @MrFalcon61 AMEN!!

  • @MrFalcon61 I hope you know that real pilots actually use this ''computerized crap'' at their home.

  • @MrFalcon61 And you watch it why?

  • Its Time for a 757-400 !

  • What is this simulator called anyway?

  • hi jon!

old but great video. where can i find this boeing

    grats tim

  • why sound of engine 747-8 look weird?? is totally different !

  • Comment removed

  • I hate people who say "747 is the best F*** THE A380" i don't know where your problem is? boeing and airbus are BOTH great companys and they have BOTH great planes. so why don't you accept BOTH companys ?????

  • @13BigLu13 Their called "fanboys".

  • @13BigLu13 Sorry but I hate Airbus because their computers result in so many crashes with A-320'S and now problems with A380. Its an inexperinced aircrafter builder that cut corners and copies Beoings bests design and technolgy. Airbus crashes are to common and their pilot training is gauche to say to the least like Arabs take of crash landing in the desert cuz lack of fuel. Their planes R cheap so say a prayer when U fly on Airbus or in an Airbus.

  • @LottoWinner999 nasa and the aviation in the states was developped by the germans whos was stealed from germany after the world war2 ,it was 162 scientises ,they got the american citizenship after one year and they developped the aviation, weapon, rocket programe, and what u call it nowNASA :)so read some books befor u open ur wide mouth and say airbus copy boeing

  • @13BigLu13 Because Aibus AKA Airfags are a piece of shit with two wings attached. In addtion the WTO AKA World Trade Organization has ruled Airbis is completely subsidized in an unfair manner in addtion to Airfags engineers copy and steal innovative designs from Boeing Reasearch and Development. Also the Airfags are such cheap copys of quality Boeing aircraft. Airbus aka Airfags leads the airlines industry in fatal crashes and hull breaches since 1982.

  • Where did you get it?

  • Is the cockpit and vc the default 747-400?

  • is this PMDG 747 8i model?

  • Hey , do you need an file for this or is this an add-on?

  • how do u get everything to shake and all those effects? i have very good graphic card and i dont know a thing of how u do that...

  • @JackieBird123 They're all done on Sony Vegas probably with New Blue Fx. A good graphics card doesn't give you a shake effect.

  • howd you get the graphix this good?

  • Hey whats your PC specs?

  • If it's not Boeing, i'm not going!

  • @boonatwork: I' m also from there but FMO is able to handle nearly empty 747s. There was a Corsair 747-300 which brought some Football players Dome years ago.

  • D-ABTx is a 747-430!

  • lol the plane is saying " Wooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!"

  • I love the sound at 0:02-0:09

  • At 1:01 Is this the sign of the Airport FMo Munster-Osnabruck from Germany? Pls. Answer!

  • @MaxXTVBlackBerry it looks exactly like it .. im from osnabruck so i know these busses .. and i do know aswell that fmo is not able to handle a 747

  • If only more Airlines around the world took up the new 748's. The 747 is now a dying breed and being retired and scrapped at an incredible rate. The Airline i work for has announced the progressive retirement of 20 744's over the next 2 years to make way for the Plastic A380. The 747 will always have a place in my heart and that of many people across the globe.

  • @Mickholas i thought the 747-8 was replacing the 747s

  • @Mickholas well its aircraft like the 787 that are slowly replacing older aircraft with more developed technology... we wont see the end of the 747 as of yet... i was at the 747-8I ceremony as im a lead Technical developer of the GE Engine installion project.. so really i was third in charge of the Engines...

  • @Mickholas what airline is it?Delta is still keeping their 744's in service :D.

  • @Mickholas I think once lufthansa and other airlines that ordered them recieve them. I think other airlines will see the benifits of the 747-8. Its just a better looking, more aerodynamic airplane. The a380 has no erganomic concept at all pretty much.

  • @Mickholas agree, i'm so sad if many 747 are retired, one day, 747-8is will be beat the A380s and 777s

  • @Mickholas what airline do you work for?

  • @Mickholas I work for United and Continental airlines and was working for Boeing but I decided to work for United but the Boeing 747-8 is one of the best I mean is the best plane Boeing have 5 planes that is good on fuel and dont need refueling it is the 747-400 747-8 777 757 737 so it is one of the best planes on earth but the Airbus is a worthless that is y they only have 4 mean users its becuz Airbus is to big and use to much space for one airport

  • @Mickholas I work for United and Continental airlines and was working for Boeing but I decided to work for United but the Boeing 747-8 is one of the best I mean is the best plane Boeing have 5 planes that is good on fuel and dont need refueling it is the 747-400 747-8 777 757 737 so it is one of the best planes on earth but the Airbus is a worthless that is y they only have 4 mean users its becuz Airbus is to big and use to much space for one airport it is hard for any airport to hold and fact

  • @Mickholas I think the reason why the airlines are planning to get rid of their 747s is because the A380 has more capacity than the 747. And when you have more capacity than that means you make more money. And that's what every airline wants to do. They want more money. And since they know that they will make more money with the A380s than the 747s than that's probably why they want to scrap their 747s. The 747 have even become less popular. Suprisingly there has only been 1 order for a 747.....

  • @Mickholas plane last year. Counting in 2011 there has only been 2 orders for some 747s this year. Eventually the 747s will get scrapped and retire. The Boeing 747-100 planes and Boeing 747-200 have already been retired. The Boeing 747-300 and the Boeing 747-400 are out of production but some are still in service. They will eventually get scrapped and retire. I'm guessing you work for Quantas Airlines since I saw in you're channel you live in Australia. I have seen a numorous Airbus A380........

  • @nickelfilling1 Your an Airbus Troll thats so full of shit its incredible cuz Airbus has A380 sales while the Boeing 747-8I has 117 firm sales in five months since its been released. In 9 years has only sold 200 A380's + delivered only 51. Your A380 is a White Elephant + 6 Billion Euros in debt + has to sell 500 to break even. The A350 is delayed until 2017 + has no engine + Boeing exclusivity contract with GE. Airbus is pissed cuz GE turned them down cuz they to by GE Nexgen for A350.

  • @LottoWinner999 First of all, you don't even know if I'm a troll because I'm not!!!!!!!!!! And plus I don't really know which side you're on, Boeing or Airbus. I'm on Boeing because they make safe planes. And just because there hasn't been any accident with any Airbus plane doesn't mean they're safe. It just takes time for a fault to happen on an Airbus plane. And any airline who would want safe planes would trust Boeing. And I never said I liked Airbus. I said that I loved the Boeing 747-8...

  • @nickelfilling1 Air Airbus A380 is piece of shit with 2 wings made in France + only sold 200 +51 delivered while Boeing 747-8I has sold 117 747-8Is in 5 months + stalks A380 sales. La A380 is 6 Billion Euros in debt + 21/2 years behind delivery + must sell 500 to break even. Every 747-8I sale is nail in the A380 coffin which has had no sales this year. At this rate the A380 will be cancelled + the A350-Delay-Liner does not no have an engine + GE said no Nexgen engines for Airbus. Airbus Sucks

  • @nickelfilling1 For some one who is pro Boeing U make it sound like its all over for Boeing, take a look at what you write.

  • @LottoWinner999 (Continued from first comment.)Which also means that I love Boeing. And their safe planes. So that does mean that you didn't had to say all that mean stuff to me. It's just a disgrace in somebody's face. Now for the conclusion, you must have missed everything. You clearly missed my point. I was just telling Mickholas why the airlines wanted more A380s. Okay you're right, maybe I did tell him like it was a bit over for Boeing but take a look at their sales. They have sold 3,000..

  • @nickelfilling1 Sure any thing you say is lie and poor, poor Boeing is full of shit try that on someone else cuz it won't work here!

  • @LottoWinner999 and counting 737s. They can't shut down!! Listen to me!! I feel like you're one of those people who like to start arguments with other people and say lies about them!! Well just stop!! Maybe I don't talk clearly and you don't get it but that doesn't give you the right to say negative things to me!! And to say the conclusion.......... I don't like Airbus. I've always wanted a 737(And a Boeing 747.). I'm sorry if I was a little hard on you but can't we both make peace!!

  • @Mickholas planes with Quantas written on them. But for now..........the Boeing 747 will have a place in my heart and I hope to own 1 Boeing 747 plane out of all the remaining Boeing 747s.

  • @nickelfilling1 Its doom time for Airbus A380. Boeing has 117 Firm Sales for the 747-8I + the Boeing 787 will delivered this August. Did U hear Boeing is going to build 16 787's per month while the A350-Delay-Liner has no engine. Gee its seem there are GE Nexgen engines in the cuboard for Airbus + Airbus stock dropped again cuz the A380-Delay-Liner has made no sales this year. Tsk, tsk Boeing will celebrate when Airbus cancels its White Elephant A380-Delay-Liner. Airbus A380 is POS with 2 wings.

  • @Mickholas if the A380 was such a bad plane, tell me why at bourget so many airline company bought a lot and a lot of this plane ????? It's know there a competition between boeing and airbus but you can say trully which one is the best at this time. Boeing were the boss, once up on a time, now it's the turn of airbus... US boy, be fairplay and behave like a gentleman. Perhaps boeing will be back .... About military aircraft, Europe is so far away at the back, keep it smiling ;-)

  • @couniamanmanw moreover 747 8 intercontinental seems to be a copycat of the A380 ( hu hu hu !!! X-P )

  • @Mickholas Don't give up so soon. Air China and Lufthansa want the 748 already. Who will be next? The super-rich may prefer the A380, but the "proletariat" who must fly coach will find the 748 a vast improvement over the older 747s and the A380's lower deck both.

  • @Mickholas which airline do you work for? air france?

  • Lost time in my life: 1 minute 25 seconds. It's not real!!!

  • Como conseguistes ese avion.?

  • @Alkaeda001 puedes meterte a flightsim . com

  • download ?

  • great sounds!!

  • Can't wait until the Lufthansa 747-8's arrive.

  • normally you cant reverse the motor before nose touch

  • yes you can...i make it in all my landings.

  • @agusamadeus ı mean it is not like that in real life xD

  • @atakan196 no actually most airliners set reverse prior to nose contact

  • how much did u paid?

  • I don't like when I expect to see a video of a real plane and it ends up being a simmulator..

  • what do reverse thrusts do to the plane

  • @faz415 It slows the plane down by directing the thrust in the opposite direction.

  • LUFTHANSA!!!!

  • With what did you recorded it

  • @ovectopo You can Use FRAPS, it's the most common way to record videogames

  • That was one sexy landing!

  • hi evryone, im having 747-400x.

it worth the money this add-on?

  • Sweet 7/10 for "First Presentation"..I had acouple of looks at ur other videos also. As for me, I'm no showman but for (Airborne and Taxi) A big thumbs Up, from the Viewer Aspect! Also appreciate your (hours) in bringing these to Others' Cheers Mate

    keep it coming

  • God, enough of the nitpicking criticisms!!! Your video was very entertaining to an experienced planewatcher. I am becoming more hooked on the simulations, and while obviously not 100% accurate, King of the Hill and The Simpsons entertained many of us as well.

    Well done. Cheers.

  • uh, first, why are the wings not curved up like it is supposed to and second, why are the engines so loud during taxi???

  • @maxwellus000123 he didn't draw it properly

  • @maxwellus000123 uhhh im srry but r u blind??? the wings are bent up AND the engines are probably so loud bcuz the guy thot the plane was going too slowly

  • 7 747 7... Views

  • All FSX weenies must perish :) Seriously, have some courtesy and flag your vids.

  • Why is it that the Boeong 787 and boeing 747-8 have those spikes on the engine like at 0:16 ? Ai hav never siin them on any other aircraft besides the new ones :/

  • @1matt63 - Those are for noise reduction on takeoff.

  • @eliskander Could yuu explain how they wirk? xP

  • @1matt63 All I got form the Boeing website is that it is a feature that reduces noise, but doesn't explain the details.

  • @eliskander

noise reduction not only for takeoff, but any time boeing is so smart :D

  • reverse thrust, before the nose wheel is on the ground, i don´t think so.. fail!!

  • @manhenk u sir are a fail....im afraid 4 u wen u see how russian pilots use reverse thrust before they even touch the ground

  • @DarthShuckille

that would be a very hard landing, dropping onto a ground like that

  • @maxwellus000123 lol i havnt expreienced it but i saw a couple landings online looked smoothe to me alas looks can be deceiving

  • thats a big fucking plane

  • Super Awesome Jet Plane*****5/5*****4 The Jet Air Plane!

  • nice views

  • Lufthansa and the 747 are like peas and carrots.

    Great video!

  • Where did you get the animated ground equipment???

  • wow i watched this with my l\ptop plugged into my tv and home cinema STUNNING sound on the landin

  • Nice Video :) But first flight in Lufthansa-Livery ?? :P

  • Where can I download this model

  • is this x plane 9 or fsx?

  • @gojaxgovideo

    FSX

  • @all4golf i doubt that :-)

No clue why he still sticks around on FS9..

  • is it FS2004 or FSX...?

  • @blakstadboy

    FSX

  • @blakstadboy

    Actualy, this is the FS2004.

    Read the description

  • nice vid..

  • What are your system specs? surely, it can't be faster than mine, it must be some setting or addon, is it pmdg? nice video btw.

  • how can i get this fantistic view?

    THX!

  • nice video :) Lufthansa ftw ;)

@Inexorable9295 wtf are you talking about, everyone can see that it's a real 747-8 and not such a shit as you are talking about... go home you little motherf*****

  • Best graphics. What's your graphics card and computer.

  • Check out my FSX videos!!

  • @Inexorable9295

dude if u look at that aircraft closely u can see that its a b747-8001 i have that same aircraft in fsx

  • A) It is a 747-8, The wing design is different, engines are differnt (true) and upper deck is longer. and

    B) The 747-8 hasnt flown yet your thinking of the 747-8F which flew recently. This s purly fictional. Don't call him a noob. It's Hypocritical.

  • @flookie07

It is actually a 747-8I (you left out the "I") if you are going to be precise.

  • Good point :P I genuinely forgot to put that thanks.

  • Inexorable9295, you're completely wrong. The aircraft depicted here is exactly what the 747-8 passenger version looks like. Google the 747 and look at the side profiles of the 747-400 and the 747-8. You'll see that this depiction is correct.

  • @Inexorable9295 if you knew what you were talking about. Clearly its a 747-8. the biggest difference is the wing in general. It is the same technology as with the dreamliner. also, the winglets. not even close. your the noob

  • @Inexorable9295 You don't know what are you speaking about. It's 747-800i, if you can not distinguish it, you don't know about planes, smart ass...

  • you sad sad bastards

  • Eh? Thrust reversers on before nose touch-down?

  • Yes?! This is common!

  • nice awesome graphics detail !

  • Nice landing, and @ cleo0399 nope, in this plane, due to its large vertical stabilizer (more ground control), you can start reverse thrust as soon as the main gear touches down, no matter if the nose gear is still in the air ;) It's in the plane's manual and I think it's the same irl

  • window too close to radome

  • NICE VIDEO DUDE

  • i hate these cyber videos..aren't the reverse thrusters supposed to wait til the nose gear is at least touched down?

  • @cleo0399 only the main gear

  • @cleo0399 If you really know something about airplanes, you might know that in largre airplanes, due to the large tail stabilizer, the reverse thrust can be activated as soon as the main gear touch the runway, even if the nose gear is in the air. See real landings and you will see that this landing is perfect.

  • 747-800 i heard is bigga than A380 in people :D

THATS RITE AIRBUS boeing owns :)

  • @RunescapeTutorial585 yeah mate your too right who doesnt like boeing!!!

  • No, the 747-9 is just a little bit longer. The A380 is still bigger (more people and higher takeoff weight).

  • A380 is bigger

  • in length depending in cargo or passenger config, passenger wise the A380 is still larger in capacity depending on layout.

  • @rehma6b0

true but how many airline can actually fill up 90% of the seas to make a profit likeemirates there just messing around the want to be the world leader but yet there losing money like crazy qatar is better to me

  • dude i'm not talking about fiscal responsibility, or fuel efficiency here, i'm just replying to what Runescape said about 747-800 being larger in capacity. I simply corrected him when both planes are maxed out in passenger capacity config, the A380 carries more. I know that its up to the airlines on what config they choose in the end.

  • @rehma6b0

oh yeah true the a380 has more seats but all im saying is that the airline who ordered the a380 how many of them can actually fill the seats atleast 90% of there seats to make a profit i think they should evaluate and either chose the a350-1000 or the 747-8 oh and at least lufthasa is using it on there prize route fra-jfk thats the only route i see them making a profit on and maybe there fra to lax not sure about that

  • @RunescapeTutorial585 Better read by you own, and compare. Both are great airplanes, but the A-380 can transport 800 plus people (between 800 and 850 depending of the configuration). The 748 is only a longer version (only 7.9 meters more) of the 744, and can transport 465 passengers in a tri-class configuration... Boeing might design a completely new airplane to get the capacity of the A-380, but 748 is a great adaptation.

  • @Gerardius you are talking so much crap, sorry to say it that way.

But you'll never see an airline a380 whit 800 or 850 persons inside.

    that would be too uncomfortable.

for example lufthansa uses a configuration of 526!

747-8 is supposed to have around 400, depending on the configuration!

    a340-600: 335-370 passengers.

Now you might see that the 747-8 is needed to:

    1. replace the old 747-400 (not immediately but in the following years)

    2. close the gap between a380 and 340-600

  • @mystylix I know I'll never see an A380 with 800 or 850 passengers on borad, I was speaking in terms of max capacity. And you knew it. But you would make your speech, and you forced it in a stupid way, yo show the world how much clever you are, and you only are a poor know-all.
