I'm now 56, I've raced and ridden my bike since I was 20. My heart and arteries at my last check up were clear of any blockages, my resting heart rate is 55 and my lungs hold more volume of air than some guys half my age. I was off my bike this last year because of problems at work kept me doing long hours. However, I'm just now getting back, I feel great, and have dropped almost 15 pounds that I gained last year. I hope to race next year in the geezer class races. I relate to the video.

i actually left my gf about a week ago because she isn't into cycling, i rode 6000 miles last year on a trek 1.5 2009 and am buying a trek 5.1 2010 tomorrow and going on a 4000 miles on it in a one month trip during this next season. Nothing compares to riding my loyal steed for a day.

I made this video to show many people what cycling is like as Lance Armstrong said : "You can train for months but 1mm bug can kill you on your bike". Cycling is not about being drama queen stuff. Heh, I don't own a single pair of pants that aren't permanently stained black on the inside of the right cuff from chain grease. :-)

I have some dark greyish brown wool socks that I usually wear and I've started stuffing my right pant cuff in my socks, as my socks don't show the grease stains as bad (and it keeps my pant leg out of the chainring)
