I don't understand how a state gov't. can take money earmarked by the federal gov't. for a particular use (i.e. education and disabilities) and move it to another use!?!? Somethin's definitely wrong here.

And she's an idiot with only a 2-year associate of arts degree. Only in Arizona can one with so little education make it so far!!!! What a farce!

Average "Joe" American wants their politicians to care and stand up for Americans right now. Not special interest groups. We aren't going to buy into political games right now because we are all deeply worried about the future of this great state. It makes me sick to see the way you scrape so low to try to bash a woman who has worked so hard for us all.

I'm not a fan of privatizing our schools, but with all of the overhead, oversight, and administration, our schools cost way too before teachers get to stand in front of students. The worst part is that the teachers are underpaid and don't have the tools they need.

Testing will never lead to success. Hard work, integrity, and personal responsibility lead to success. Until they teach those three in schools, nothing else matters.

Stop testing and start teaching.

As an unemployed teacher-the only teaching jobs are those working for private tutoring companies tutoring to the AIMS test. All students get in school are endless "worksheets" that are mass produced and sold to State by publishing companies. "privatizing" public education has occurred and it is a nightmare. The schools are in horrible shape but people are making money in private industry while students are dropping out. Someone is making lots of money in all the private testing contracts.

She is clearly proud to have "cut to the bone" state education which is where the majority of state budget cuts have come from. Of course she is proud of this, wake up people! "Republicans" like this whack job are for the privatization of EVERYTHING and will use the recession as an excuse to virtually force it to happen, watch out people! You will find yourself relying on charity unless you are RICH.
