  • sisi muy facil, las leds se conectan en serie, y + pasa directo y - pasa por el switch!, y la energia la tomas de alguna parte, además debes de poner una restistencia para leds;)

    Gracias x la idea! Perfecto!:B

  • can ne one get me a link to the diagram for wiering the leds?

  • To me it looks like crap , i wouldn't do that to my AAO , instead i'd try to make the keyboard light up , that's something that would be really useful in my opinion..

  • Mas lucecitas, mas consume, muy bien.

  • @yoel28 I do not think that an LED consumes that much energy ;)

  • @DaeViZ0n3 Entonces quiero que me lo hagas en mi portatil, jeje

I want you to install it on my netbook, hehe

  • Hey guys!

I definately NEVER will do a tutorial or another video on that Acer, because it is not mine and my friend already sold it to someone else! No Tut, no little video on "where to put the wires to get the right voltage " bla ba :D

Just use a multimeter and try the voltages! xD

  • @DaeViZ0n3 me neither

  • make a tutorial!!!

  • are the leds connected directly to the battery? like via wires?

  • Pretty sick mod........you like the way the windows 7 works? I just got a beta key from Microsoft but havnt installed it yet.

  • yep, win7 is great. using it since that day

  • Didn´t you do a tutorial about how you made it??

    :(

  • no, i think there should be no tut on that since it is pretty easy. just one circuit with 3 LEDs and a switch connected to the battery

  • Thats a cool mod! Im looking to do a similar one myself but im unsure which battery contacts to use and where to isolate on the motherboard. Could you tell me which contacts u used and where you isolated please?

  • uuuhm, just take an old led - that still works - and try some combinations on the battery. one single LED will need a resistance but 3 LEDs will handle the voltage. try the first and the fifth contact - as far as i remember^^

  • How'd you do that mate?!

  • well I just opened the case and disassembled all the components and made a plan how to put some simple wires and LEDs in there. after i found a good position I just soldered it and glued it into the case/soldered and isolated it onto the mainboard /daughterboard so that nothing could be damaged. pretty easy :)

  • really cool mod, i like it !!!!

    good work

  • thanks a lot

  • hmm if I find some more people who want a modded notebook/netbook I´ll just do my best :D

But since I dont have one I can not mod it :D

  • i have an acer aspire one.

    and i want it modded.

  • if you want it modded, DIY or just send it to me - this is a SICK sentence writing on the Internet :D

    Where r u from?

  • dude please teach me how to do that :P

  • u got mail;)

  • thanks for the mail, i can't wait to see what else you got :P

  • dont think I could type that much on this little keyboard - although its bigger as the one of the eee PC 7/901, not sure..

  • looks quite nice

what about the performance of win 7 on it?

  • even better than under XP I´d say!

läuft flüssig, ohne zu zucken unter Seven!

  • nice always thought netbooks are not that powerfull,

so it would be a nice device for studying or army ;)

  • yeah, i'm taking mine on deployment with me
