wow people complaining because this dude dosent have an hdtv? you'll are just up to date freaks. what can a hd tv can do than an sd tv cant? NOT MUCH!. you can still play games on both, still what the SAME show on both. Hell the only thing differnt is the I and the P (480i <-SD and 720P <-HD). sure HDTV are smaller than SD in the terms of slickness but come on people. are you willing to buy another TV that dose the EXCITE SAME THING as any other tvs? i personally dont care about video quaity

@MrSomeGamerdude I thought the same man, but there are big differences. i had a standard definition one for years and i was reassuring myself that it was just as good as High definition t'vs, but since i got an LG HD tv bout year ago i have seen those differences. like.. the quality of the picture i compared it to my SD tv and i was really shocked its much clearer and sharper and the sound is crisper, the majority also have the abiltity to go on to Digital unlike the standards. lighter as well.

@1la3tk1LL i still see no to little differents and im sticking to my previews comment. because i can still finish the game no matter what type of tv i have. i really dont care what picture quality is. as long as i can play my games on it and watch tv on it im happy. and i dont car if i get this much on sdtv or hdtv ( I-------SD-----I--H---I) they do exacatly the same thing that all tv can do. and thats they display same image on the screen for entertainnment.

There are no real differences. The Slim takes longer to load up a game and that's pretty much it.

actually the 40gb ps3 is not a first generation thats 2nd generation the 1st was the 20gb and the 60gb then it went 40gb 80gb then 120gb and 250gb

i have the old one too. i want to get the slim, but i want to wait. kuz wen the PlayStation Move comes out, its ganna come with the PS3 Slim with it together. n its ganna come out at least around summer soo im going to wait :)
