i had my Guinea pig potty trained, he only went in his cage when he wanted too go to sleep (aka he could get in and out by himself), my dog loved it they actually played together and sometimes slept together. honestly i think he thought he was a dog.

Wish mine could do that. She broke her hind leg when she was with her previous owner. It healed the wrong way and she can now barely walk. Wish I had her a year earlier. That wouldn't have happened if she had been with me.

@Cheezelover100 I find them able to learn things like you would teach puppies. I trained one of mine to be toilet trained when I put him on my bed. The other... Well, I've tried to teach him many times, but he just won't learn. Maybe it depends on the guinea pig's intelligence or something, because my other one is kinda... Stupid. LoL. But he makes up for it for his silly cuteness. :D

@arabali61 They are fairly robust. I dropped my guinea pig from chest height onto a tiled floor about a year and he was just fine. Don't think I've ever sweared as loud.
